    摘要: A device for riveting brush holder and a brush holder plate, comprising a worktable. A positioning mechanism for positioning the brush holder and the brush holder plate is provided on the worktable. A left riveting cylinder and a right riveting cylinder are provided on two opposite sides of the worktable corresponding to the positioning mechanism, respectively, a left riveting die being provided at an end of the piston rod of the left riveting cylinder, a right riveting die being provided at an end of the piston rod of the right riveting cylinder. A first intelligent inching switch and a second intelligent inching switch are connected in series in the control circuit, the first intelligent inching switch being provided beside the left riveting cylinder, the second intelligent inching switch being provided beside the right riveting cylinder. Only when the first intelligent inching switch and the second intelligent inching switch are pressed down simultaneously, the left riveting cylinder and the right riveting cylinder can be started to drive the left riveting die and the right riveting die to rivet the brush holder and the brush holder plate which are positioned on the positioning mechanism.

    摘要: One illustrative embodiment of an end effector generally comprises a tip, a housing, and a main insert. The housing may include a housing neck, one or more housing sections, and an end section. A main insert may be positioned within the housing. One or more intermediate inserts may also be positioned in the housing, as may an end insert. During use, it is contemplated that the end effector will provide a user a more ergonomic and comfortable experience, requiring less effort from the user resulting in a less fatigue during use. Additionally, the illustrative embodiments of the end effector may be adjusted for optimal use in an infinite number of applications. Additionally, the locator ensures that the user properly locates the distal end of a rivet to create a uniform nugget as the distal end of the rivet is spread.

    摘要: A manufacturing method employing a robotic assembly system includes first and second fastener system components that are positioned by a robotic assembly on opposite sides of at least two structural pieces that are to be fastened together. The first system component includes a particular tool of a plurality of different types of tools, where the particular tool installs a particular fastener of a plurality of different types of fasteners. Each tool includes a block or base of magnetic material with a passageway opening for the fastener associated with the tool passing through the base. The robotic assembly positions the tool against one side of the structural pieces to be fastened, and positions an electromagnet assembly on the opposite side of the structural pieces. Activating the electromagnet assembly clamps the structural pieces together. With the fastener positioned in a hole through the structural pieces, the tool is activated to install the fastener between the structural pieces.

    摘要: The device for reversibly gripping a rivet mandrel has a tension head with a mouthpiece sleeve and a clamping jaw sleeve axially movable in the mouthpiece sleeve and accommodating a plurality of clamping jaws. The clamping jaws reversibly grip the rivet mandrel during an axial displacement of the clamping jaw sleeve and the clamping jaws are furthermore held by an elastic holding element. The jaws are displaceable relative to one another independently of an actuation by the clamping jaw sleeve. This enables improved introduction and gripping of the rivet mandrel, especially for fully automated blind rivet operations, for example with blind rivet robots. Due to the elastic holding of the clamping jaws, wear on one side of the clamping jaws is avoided. Also, a controlled displacement of the clamping jaws independently of the clamping jaw sleeve is provided.

    摘要: Powered tools and interchangeable driver assemblies for removal of fasteners from a host material are disclosed. The tool includes a housing having a chamber operatively associated with an actuator assembly. Interchangeable driver assemblies may be provided that include a plurality of interchangeable particularly configured drive pins and a plurality of interchangeable guide elements, each guide element selectively adapted for use with a different one of the drive pins. The guide element has an elongate central passage therethrough, is receivable by a mount releasably maintained at the housing adjacent the chamber, and may be configured for slidable retention thereat. In such case, the guide element is biased toward a fully extended position and is slidable between the fully extended position and a retracted position.
