Abstract: A system includes a laminated glass comprising a protective layer disposed between two sheets of glass. The system includes a resistive conductive coating made of a first electrically conducting material disposed on a surface of one of the two sheets of glass facing the protective layer. The system includes a first set of electrodes made of a second electrically conducting material disposed on the resistive conductive coating. The system includes a second set of electrodes made of a third electrically conducting material disposed on the first set of electrodes. The second set of electrodes is electrically connected to the first set of electrodes, respectively. The third electrically conducting material of the second set of electrodes is more ductile than the second electrically conducting material of the first set of electrodes.

Abstract: A windshield for vehicle includes a laminated glass in which a first glass plate and a second glass plate are bonded together with an intermediate film interposed therebetween, in which the laminated glass includes a glass plate with a terminal including the second glass plate, a conductor, and the terminal, the conductor including a terminal joint portion, and the terminal being joined to the terminal joint portion of the conductor through lead-free solder; the conductor includes a feeding portion for feeding electricity to an electric function portion, and the feeding portion includes the terminal joint portion; the glass plate with the terminal includes a light-shielding layer between the second glass plate and at least a part of the conductor including the feeding portion; and a porosity of at least a forming region of the feeding portion in the light-shielding layer is 12% or lower.

Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a laminate that is excellent in adhesion between the copper foil and the resin film while using a polyvinyl acetal resin having low reactivity with the copper foil. This method includes the steps of providing a copper foil having on at least one side a treated surface on which an amount of metal components is 30 atomic % or more and 40 atomic % or less, and attaching or forming a polyvinyl acetal resin film on the treated surface of the copper foil to form a laminate. The amount of metal components is a proportion of Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo, Co, W, and Fe in a total amount of N, O, Si, P, S, Cl, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo, Co, W, and Fe when the treated surface is subjected to elemental analysis by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

Abstract: A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame portion, a fixed window panel fixed relative to the frame portion, and a movable window panel. A drive system is operable to move the movable window panel between an opened position and a closed position. The drive system includes (i) a housing attached at the fixed window panel, (ii) a drive motor disposed in the housing, (iii) a threaded shaft disposed in the housing and rotatably driven by the drive motor, (iv) a connecting element that threadedly receives the threaded shaft therethrough and (v) a window connector that is affixed to the movable window panel and that pivotally connects to the connecting element. Abstract: Window units, for example insulating glass units (IGU's), that have at least two panes, each pane having an electrochromic device thereon, are described. Two optical state devices on each pane of a dual-pane window unit provide window units having four optical states. Window units described allow the end user a greater choice of how much light is transmitted through the electrochromic window. Also, by using two or more window panes, each with its own electrochromic device, registered in a window unit, visual defects in any of the individual devices are negated by virtue of the extremely small likelihood that any of the visual defects will align perfectly and thus be observable to the user.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a condensation prevention type transmission window for a CMS module test chamber, the transmission window being provided at the module test chamber. The condensation prevention type transmission window includes: a multilayer glass panel in which heating wires are coated on upper, lower, left, and right side surfaces thereof; and an air injector provided at each of opposite surfaces of the transmission window to inject air from an upper side edge and/or a lower side edge of the transmission window and to form an air curtain. The present invention provides the condensation prevention type transmission window for a CMS module test chamber, which prevents freezing and fogging on inside and outside surfaces of the transmission window of the CMS module test chamber varying in a temperature range from 40° C. to +125° C.
