Abstract: The abstract is a sign or a decorative article made from a sheet of dielectric material with first and second components made of electrically conductive material in contact one with each side of the dielectric material; the components of electrically conductive material are not in electrical contact with each other and are connectable to different terminals of an electric power supply; when power is supplied to the electrically conductive components, the sign produces a glowing corona effect.

Abstract: Production of nanotubes of carbon or of other inorganic material by moving a carbon-containing substrate (8), such as a tape or belt of carbon fibres, within a reaction chamber (1) either through an electric arc in a gap between two electrodes (2, 3) or adjacent an electrode so that an electric arc exists between the electrode and the substrate, to cause the nanotubes to form on the substrate (8). The method enables the continuous or semi-continuous production of nanotubes. Preferably, the process is carried out at atmospheric pressure and nanotubes of high purity are produced.

Abstract: The invention provides a method of generating an interactive visualisation of a plurality of electronic communications. The method includes the steps of assigning a communication identifier and author identifier to two or more of the electronic communications, generating respective participant key-codes for each of the two or more electronic communications, and associating a parent identifier with at least one of the electronic communications. The method further includes the steps of generating on a display a graphic representation of each electronic communication and generating on the display a graphic connector between respective pairs of representations of electronic communications that are in a parent-child relationship. The method further designates one or more of the electronic communications as mutual interest hubs and generates on the display a graphic representation of each mutual interest hub that are visually different to electronic communications that are not mutual interest hubs.
