Der einzige umlaufende Zahnriemen erlaubt nicht nur die Übertragung der Antriebskräfte, sondern darüber hinaus eine präzise Steuerung der Plattform. Die verbesserte Standsicherheit resultiert aus einer Anordnung des relativ schweren Motors in dem Fuß des Futterlifts.

    摘要: There is provided a sperm extender medium for prolonging the fertility of bovine spermatozoa during liquid storage of the spermatozoa. The medium comprises a monosaccharide energy source for the spermatozoa. The one or more α or β amino acid osmolytes are selected from mono-amino carboxylic and mono-amino sulfonic acids, each independently having an R side group selected from the group consisting of H and non-polar, neutral open aliphatic chains excluding branched C3 and longer aliphatic chains. The medium also comprises one or more antioxidants and physiologically acceptable inorganic salts for maintaining sperm viability, and is buffered for maintaining pH in a range of from about 7.0 to about 8.5. Further, in embodiments, the medium has a concentration of sodium ions of less than about 95 mM, and an osmolarity in a range of from about 290 mOsm/L to about 400 mOsm/L. There are also provided preparations comprising the spermatozoa in the medium, methods for preparing the medium and methods for fertilisation of an ovum comprising contacting the ovum with spermatozoa administered in the sperm extender medium.

    摘要: A system, device and method to pick and/or place specimen containers may include a pick and/or place head, a first secondary reservoir, and optionally a second secondary reservoir which hold cryogenic fluid in a liquid form, above a main reservoir of cryogenic liquid, to cool the pick and/or place head and/or to cool or recharge the specimen containers during transfer operations. Storage locations may be arrayed in wedge-shaped sets spaced above cryogenic liquid of the main reservoir of a cryogenic storage tank at one or more levels, and pivotal about a central axis via a motor and control system. A gap (e.g., wedge shaped gap) between two successively angularly adjacent sets of storage locations of the sets of storage locations at an upper level provides access to the storage locations of the sets of storage locations at a lower level. Cryogenic liquid temperatures and levels in reservoirs are monitored.

    摘要: An organ preservation system includes a housing, an organ perfusion circuit, and a dual direction bubble trap (168) disposed within the organ perfusion circuit. The dual direction bubble trap can include an upper interior chamber, a lower interior chamber, an air vent valve (204), and a hydrophobic membrane disposed between the upper interior chamber and the air vent valve. The dual direction bubble trap can further include an antegrade fluid valve (236) that is configured to open at a higher pressure than that for the air vent valve. The dual direction bubble trap can further include a retrograde fluid valve (220). During operation, when fluid is pumped into the dual direction bubble trap from either a retrograde or antegrade direction, air passes through the hydrophobic membrane and is vented through the air vent valve until such time that the interior chamber is full of fluid which causes the air vent valve to close.
