Checking method and line for checking a tyre (2) for vehicle wheels, wherein the tyre (2) is associated with a model with which a setting for a set of image acquisition devices (282) is associated and it is provided to: a) obtain the model associated with said tyre (2); b) acquire preliminary images of said tyre (2); c) obtain, from said acquired preliminary images, at least one adjustment value representative of at least one geometric characteristic of the tyre (2); d) calculate a deviation between said at least one adjustment value and a respective reference value, associated with said model; e) adjust the setting associated with the model of tyre (2) based on the calculated deviation and inspect said tyre (2) to look for possible production defects by acquiring images of at least part of the surface of the tyre (2), using the set of image acquisition devices (282) set according to the setting thus adjusted.

The invention concerns a method and an apparatus for roasting a food product, wherein it is provide to: - load a batch of a predetermined food product type in a roasting device; - set operating parameters of the roasting device according to initial reference values for said predetermined food product type, so as to start a heating of the product, adapted to bring the product to roasting; - performing feedback control for the operation of the roasting device during the heating of the product by means of the steps of: - obtaining, instant by instant, a value for a sound quantity which is relative to a sound emitted by the product, wherein said sound is detected in a frequency range comprising both human ear audible frequencies and ultrasound frequencies; - comparing the sound quantity's value, which is obtained at each instant, to a value taken by the sound quantity, at said instant, in a roasting curve of said sound quantity versus time, which is associated with said predetermined food product type; - adjusting, instant by instant, the operating parameters of the roasting device depending on the result of said comparison.

The invention relates to a method for controlling the quality of a tyre (1) for vehicle wheels and a tyre (1) for vehicle wheels having a marking in at least one sidewall (2). The marking comprises a mark (5) with a first line (53) and a second radial line (51), configured to be used as position reference to determine the position of production defects identified in the tyre (1) during a quality control. The quality control method comprises: - locating a position reference through identification of the mark (5) of the marking, detecting said first line (53) and said second radial line (51), and by locating the position reference in said second radial line (51); - inspecting the tyre (1) to search for production defects; - determining the position of each production defect with respect to the located position reference.

Method and system for generating electric energy in a tyre wherein: a device comprises a housing that extends according to a longitudinal axis X, at least one electrical winding, a magnet movable within the housing along said longitudinal axis X, and a force providing element positioned at at least one of two opposite ends of the housing, which is adapted to exert on the magnet a force along said longitudinal axis X; the device is fixed on a crown portion of the tyre; the tyre is rotated on a rolling surface so as to determine variations of forces that act on the device every time the device passes, due to the rolling of the tyre, at a footprint of the tyre; the force exerted by the force providing element and said variations of forces along said longitudinal axis X are exploited so as to cause variations of the magnet position with respect to the at least one electrical winding; and the electric energy generated across the at least one electrical winding as a consequence of said variations of the position of the magnet with respect to the electrical winding is collected.
