Abstract:
The aqueous alkaline cleaning agent proposed contains, as its hydroxide constituent, only potassium hydroxide or a mixture of potassium hydroxide and another alkali, the potassium hydroxide content being at least 20 % by wt., calculated as hydroxide, relative to the total amount of hydroxide present in the agent. The agent proposed enables cleaning to be carried out much more economically than with prior art agents. The method according to the invention includes regeneration of the cleaning agent by means of membrane filtration.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for cleaning plastic surfaces soiled by residues which are attached electrostatically, by treating them with water and/or an aqueous cleaning solution. The invention is characterised in that the plastic surface is pretreated with a liquid agent which contains at least one apolar component with paraffinic properties.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of acid preparations for cleaning and/or disinfecting hard surfaces, as well as a method for cleaning and disinfecting installations. The invention also relates to corresponding acid cleaning and/or disinfecting agents containing a) at least one acid chosen from formic, ethanoic, proplonic, gluconic, lactic, citric, glycolic, phosphoric, alkanesulfonic, nitric and sulfuric acid, and b) an alkenyl carboxylic acid or an alkynyl carboxylic acid having 8 to 14 C atoms and at least one double or triple bond in the alkenyl or alkynyl chain, whereby the respective C chains can additionally contain ether, alcohol, aldehyde and keto groups. The remainder of the 100 wt. % consists of water and/or other auxiliary agents and/or active ingredients.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method of cleaning pipelines and containers in the food industry and is characterized in that a cleaning agent in the form of an aqueous solution of cleaner concentrates which can be thickened by water is applied to the inner surfaces to be cleaned and, after a reaction time of between 1 and 60 minutes, is rinsed off with water.
Abstract:
The invention relates to alkaline detergent pastes comprising a complexing agent, as used, in particular, industrially, for the cleaning of crockery and plant and equipment in the food industry and also for washing textiles. The invention further relates to method for the production of creme-like, strongly alkaline aqueous detergents, which contain an organic complexing agent displaying at least one carboxylic acid function, the use of detergents produced by said method and particular embodiments of said detergent.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of at least one selected polyhydroxy compound in lubricant formulations and the use of chain lubricants which contain at least 20 percent by weight of a selected polyhydroxy compound, for reducing the friction between transported goods and transport installations. The invention also relates to a lubricant which contains further additives in addition to the polyhydroxy compounds.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling the dosing of detergent in multiple stage washing machines having at least one separate detergent tank per washing stage. The entry of water into a detergent tank of the washing machine releases, without intervention in the washing machine control system, the single dosing of a predetermined amount of detergent into this detergent tank, the release of further dosages being prevented until a renewed activation. Furthermore, the invention relates to a control device for dosing detergents in washing machines (1) in accordance with one of the above methods. In at least one detergent tank (2) of the washing machine (1), a humidity sensor (7) is fitted and linked with a dosing system (10) without connection to the washing machine control system, via a signal line (8). Upon entry of the water (5) into a detergent tank (2) equipped with a humidity sensor (7), a signal is produced which is processed internally in the dosage control system, thus releasing the dosage of a predetermined amount of detergent into this detergent tank (2).
Abstract:
The object of the invention is to improve agents for cleaning surfaces soiled with protein and/or fat, in particular with respect to the effect of these agents on deposits of milk and milk products. To that end, at least one protease and/or at least one lipase as enzyme(s), and at least one surfactant component and at least one acid component are used.
Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to improve the cleaning performance of an industrial washing process. To do so, a dirt-dissolving polymer, especially a polyester or a specific cellulose ether, is used to a substantial extent in the soaking or pre-wash stage of the washing process.
