摘要: An optical transceiver that reduces the EMI radiation leaked therefrom is disclosed. The optical transceiver includes a top cover and the bottom base to form a cavity into which a TOSA, a ROSA, and a circuit are set. The top cover provides a combed structure in a rear portion thereof, where the combed structure has a plurality of fins with a distance preferably less that quarter wavelength ƒノ/4 of the noise wavelength to be reduced. The combed structure operates as a short stub for the electromagnetic wave traveling longitudinally in the cavity.

摘要: A white light-emitting diode is fabricated by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), which can produce a broad band emission covering all the visible range in the spectrum by capping the Indium nitride (InN) and Indium-rich Indium Gallium Nitride (InGaN) quantum dots (QDs) in single or multiple In x Ga 1-x N/In y Ga 1-y N quantum wells (QWs) by introducing bursts of at least one of Trimethylindium (TMIn), Triethylindium (TEIn) and Ethyldimethylindium (EDMIn), which serve as nuclei for the growth of QDs in QWs. The diode can thus radiate white light ranging form 400nm to 750nm by adjusting the In burst parameters.

摘要: A positioning of a plurality of optical fibers 11 is performed by a pair of position regulating members 12a and 12b. Then, the paired position regulating members 12a and 12b are moved along two guide members 13, 13 in such a manner as to have a predetermined distance therebetween. Aribbon support member 15 is placed between the paired position regulating members 12a and 12b in such a way as to support the optical fibers 11. The plurality of optical fibers 11 are held and fixed by the holding members 17a and 17b. Further, the plurality of optical fibers 11 put on the ribbon support member 15 are sandwiched by the ribbon support member 15 and the pressing tool 19 opposed thereto. In a terminal portion structure 110a of a ribbon fiber 10, terminal portions of optical fibers 102 are arranged horizontally in parallel, an adhesive tape is stuck onto at least one of upper and lower surfaces of at least the terminal portions.

摘要: To provide a thermal insulation piping with no radially projecting part from a periphery thereof, so as to facilitate insertion of the thermal insulation piping into a pipeline or equivalent. In a thermal insulation tube 10 having a vacuum layer between an inner tube 11 and an outer tube 12, an evacuation port 30 for vacuum evacuation is oriented parallel with a longitudinal direction of the thermal insulation piping at an end of the thermal insulation tube 10. This construction can produce the thermal insulation tube 10 with no radially projecting part from a periphery thereof, thus providing improved workability when the thermal insulation piping is contained in the pipeline or equivalent. Further, a flexible pipe(s) 40 is/are preferably connected to the evacuation port(s) 30. This can allow increased positional tolerances in the connection of the evacuation port(s) to a vacuum evacuation device.

摘要: A non-aqueous electrolyte cell which is provided with a non-aqueous electrolyte (20), an anode plate (34) and a cathode plate (36) which are in contact with the electrolyte (20), a separator (38) which is positioned between the plates (34 and 36), a first lead wire (18a) which is connected to the anode plate (34) at one end and extended to the outside at the other end, a second lead wire (18b) which is connected to the cathode plate (36) at one end and extended to the outside at the other end, and a sealing bag (14) which seals the plates (34 and 36), electrolyte (20), separator (38), and parts of the lead wires (18a and 18b). The bag (14) is provided with a hot-fusing resin layer (24), a metallic layer (22) provided on the outside of the layer (24), and an electrolyte blocking insulating layer (26). The insulating layer (26) is composed of nylon or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and has low miscibility with the non-aqueous electrolyte (20). Therefore, the sealing property of the bag (14) is improved, because the electrolyte (20) blocking property of the heat-sealed part (12) of the bag (14) is improved.
