The present invention relates to a method for managing encrypted data of devices (D), preferably M2M devices like sensors in buildings, using one or more computing entities (D, SME, DWH, C), comprising the steps of: a) Encrypting said data based on encryption policies using encryption keys by one or more encrypting entities (SME), b) Storing the encrypted data - ciphertext - at a storing entity (DWH), c) Requesting decryption keys to decrypt the stored ciphertext by one or more of said clients (C), d) Computing restricted decryption keys based on said access right policies for said requesting clients (C) by a security management entity (SME) and e) Providing the generated decryption keys to said requesting clients (C) for decrypting said stored ciphertext.

A method and system for performing a mobile payment transaction between two transaction participants via a mobile network, comprising: on the part of the first transaction participant (2), providing a first transaction device – mobile subscriber's UE (3) – that is authenticated with the mobile network (4), on the part of the second transaction participant (6), providing a second transaction device that is connected to the mobile network (4), and registering said second transaction device with a dedicated application server (5) that manages the transaction details, wherein said dedicated application server (5) obtains mobile network subscription information of said mobile subscriber's UE (3), and wherein said dedicated application server (5), based on said obtained subscription information, interacts with the mobile operator charging infrastructure for performing the transaction by charging the mobile subscriber's account according to the transaction details.

For allowing a reliable energy supply with high efficiency a method for controlling energy supply to different units is claimed, wherein each unit is connected to multiple utilities for receiving energy for operating its energy systems and wherein a demand request signal is provided by at least one operational entity and/or by at least one utility for requesting a demand modification of a utility and/or of one form of energy. The method is characterized in that an aggregator receives the demand request signal and performs an allocation of the requested demand modification to the units based on a negotiating process with the units for minimizing an impact of said allocation on a future operation of another utility or of other utilities. Further, an according system is claimed, preferably for carrying out the above mentioned method.

For allowing a reliable heating and/cooling of a component of a facility or building with high efficiency a method for operating a thermal system is claimed, wherein a component of a facility or building has to be heated and/or cooled by the thermal system and wherein a control mode of the thermal system is selected for bringing and/or maintaining the component to or at a definable temperature value or to or within a definable temperature value range. The method is characterized in that the control mode is dynamically selected from multiple different control modes under consideration of at least one boundary condition of the component and/or at least one environmental context parameter and under consideration of data regarding learnt/adapted thermal behaviour of the component. Further an according thermal system is claimed, preferably for carrying out the above mentioned method.

For allowing large numbers of users to receive targeted TV advertisements during advertisement breaks without requiring unicast content transmission a method for distributing TV content over a network, especially an IP network, is claimed, wherein the TV content is comprising a main content and an advertisement content and wherein a multicast address on which a TV channel for the main content is distributed within the network is transmitted to an user as a connectivity information, the method comprising the step of transmitting further connectivity information to the user, the further connectivity information depending on at least one advertising segment of the advertisement content which the user is requesting or which the user is assigned to.
