A cutting machine (1, 101), preferably a contour-cutting machine for cutting expanded resins, fibers or fabrics, which comprises a tensioning system (8, 108) for tensioning a cutting element (3, 103), which is configured to exert at least a tensioning load on the cutting element (3, 103), which is characterized in that the tensioning system (8, 108) comprises measurement means (84, 184) for measuring the tensioning load, which can be activated in a cutting work step of the machine (1, 101), and adjustment means (82, 182) for adjusting the tensioning load, which are functionally connected with the measurement means (84, 184) in order to modify the tensioning load applied to the cutting element (3, 103) in a cutting step.

A device for releasing glasses from vehicle bodies and a method of releasing glasses from vehicle bodies The invention discloses a device (1) for releasing glasses (2) of vehicles. The device (1) comprises a frame (4), at least one suction pad (5) at least one, one guide pulley (6) fitted with two guide grooves (7) for guiding a cutting wire (8), and two winding pulleys (9). The winding pulleys are fitted with winding grooves (10) for winding the cutting wire (8) and a spacing element or a spacing pulley (11) keeping the cutting wire (8) at a safe distance from the suction pad (5). Each end of the cutting wire (8) is wound onto the winding pulleys (9) due to the guide grooves (7) wherein a safe distance from the suction pad (5) is ensured to eliminate their damage.

A vehicle is wrapped by an adhesive film which is then slit by applying first tape to the vehicle having a longitudinally extending filament carried by the tape at a position spaced from the side edges. A second tape is applied over the film at the first tape body so as to bridge to each side of the filament and pulling the filament so as to tear through the film and the first ad second tapes body with the second tape applying a force to the film acting to reduce tendency of the film to pull away from the object during the cutting by the filament as the filament is pulled.

A method for removing a glazing panel bonded to a frame by an interposed bonding material, the method utilizing a flexible cutting line and has a set up phase resulting in the line being looped around substantially the entire the periphery of the glazing panel with opposed end portions of the line being secured on separate winder spools. In a cut out phase, the line is wound on to one of the winder spools whilst simultaneously being wound off the other of the winder spools.
Abstract:
A pressure sensitive adhesive film attached to a surface is cut by pulling a filament from an adhesive tape applied on to the surface through that part of the film over the tape so as to cut the film and to form a cut edge of the film. The filament is a polyester multi-fiber filament of the order of 16 tex which provides a strength to break of the order of 2 pounds force and an extension of the order of 15% under a load of 1.0 pounds force. The tape comprises a polyethylene substrate of 0.125 inch in width. The filament is extendible so that, when the tape is stretched the filament stretches with the tape and does not pull out or separate. The filament can be broken by hand and has an ability to bend to a radius of curvature of less than 0.5 inches without any stiffness in the filament.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Schneiden von Blockmaterialien, insbesondere geschäumten oder expandierten Materialien, wobei ein Messerelement (5) mit einem ersten und einem zweiten Ende (5a, 5b) zum Ausführen einer Hin- und Her-Bewegung in Längsrichtung translatorisch angetrieben wird. Das erste und das zweite Ende (5a, 5b) des Messerelementes (5) werden angetrieben, wobei der Antrieb des ersten Endes (5a) des Messerelementes (5) über die Umwandlung einer ersten Rotationsbewegung in eine erste Translationsbewegung erfolgt und der Antrieb des zweiten Endes (5b) des Messerelementes (5) über die Umwandlung einer zweiten Rotationsbewegung in eine zweite, der ersten Translationsbewegung gleichläufige Translationsbewegung erfolgt. Die Drehzahl der ersten Rotationsbewegung auf ganze Umdrehungen bezogen ist gleich der Drehzahl der zweiten Rotationsbewegung wobei bei einer Umdrehung der ersten und der zweiten Rotationsbewegung die erste Rotationsbewegung in einem ersten und zweiten Teilbereich der Umdrehung eine größere Winkelgeschwindigkeit aufweist als die zweite Rotationsbewegung und in einem dritten und vierten Teilbereich der Umdrehung die zweite Rotationsbewegung eine größere Winkelgeschwindigkeit aufweist als die erste Rotationsbewegung und wobei zu Beginn bzw. am Ende einer Umdrehung und am Übergang zwischen dem zweiten und dritten Teilereich der Umdrehung die erste und die zweite Rotationsbewegung die gleiche Winkelgeschwindigkeit aufweisen.

A dispensing system for dispensing cutting wire to be used in a glazing panel cut out procedure has a mounting device with a docking station for docking a wire store device. The wire store device mounts on the docking station in order to dispense the wire. The mounting device can have a rotary means operable to pay out cutting wire from the system. The rotary means is controllable to adjust the applied torque required to operate the rotary means.
