    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide identifying a first set of time intervals for transmissions in a channel using a first wireless communications technology (e.g., a set of LTE-V2X intervals reserved for LTE-V2X transmissions) and a second set of time interval designated for transmissions in the channel using a second wireless communications technology (e.g., a set of D SRC intervals reserved for DSRC transmissions). A ΕΓΕ may determine whether one of the sets of time intervals is available for transmitting V2X messages using one wireless communications technology by performing energy detection for a threshold amount of time. The ΕΓΕ may then, based on the results of the energy detection, transmit the V2X message using the first wireless communication technology during a second set of time intervals or during a subsequent first set of time intervals.

    Abstract: A first apparatus receives, from a second apparatus via a sidelink (SL) transmission, first configuration parameters for a first SL DRX group and second configuration parameters for a second SL DRX group. The first configuration parameters for the first SL DRX group comprise: a common SL DRX parameter set that is shared with the second configuration parameters for the second SL DRX group, and a first dedicated SL DRX configuration parameter set. The first dedicated DRX parameter set comprises: a first on duration at the beginning of a SL DRX cycle of the first apparatus, and a first duration: after an occasion of a PSCCH carrying a first-stage SL control information (SCI) indicates a new SL transmission for a MAC entity of the first apparatus, or after an occasion of a PSSCH carrying a second-stage SCI indicates a new SL transmission for the MAC entity of the first apparatus. The first apparatus determines that the first apparatus is in a first SL active time for receiving information on the SL based on the first configuration parameters for the first SL DRX group, and in a second SL active time for receiving information on the SL based on the configuration parameter for the second SL DRX group.

    Abstract: Technology-specific listen before talk (LBT) parameter adjustments are disclosed for common energy detection (ED) thresholds. Some of the technologies sharing access to the same shared communication spectrum include additional access deferral procedures. Such technologies may be configured with additional compensating features to increase the likelihood of fairness in spectrum access across all technologies sharing a common ED threshold. Such additional compensating features may include a reduced contention window size relative to the technologies that do not include such additional access deferral procedures, increased maximum channel occupancy times (COTs) for longer transmissions, and the like. Each such additional compensating feature may be available under different circumstances, such as always available or available in response to the node activating one of the additional access deferral procedures. Additionally, such additional compensating features may, once initiated, be active and available for a predetermined period of time.
