Abstract:
Construction materials intended for use as structural elements, such as structural blocks, used in the construction of buildings and civil engineering structures. The blocks can comprise hemp hurd and fibers, flax fiber, hydraulic lime and hydrated lime. In one aspect, the blocks may comprise a body shape configured so as to allow it to interlock with other blocks in the construction of a structure. Methods for manufacturing the blocks and structures comprising such materials and methods for building such structures are also disclosed.

Abstract:
An assembly of interconnected blocks such as lightweight concrete, rock, or wood blocks, in combination with crossed ties means used for attaching blocks two by two while keeping them in a stable spaced apart position. The crossed ties comprise a rectangular shape wherein opposite corners are joined by straight links which resist shear forces due to wind, storm, tornadoes, landslides or earthquake. They comprise furthermore pegs which attach the blocks two by two when pressing pegs into notches dug on upper or lower surfaces of the blocks or on their sides. The blocks are then made with notches on upper or lower surfaces of the blocks, and on their sides, which correspond to positions of pressing pegs, to interconnect blocks together. Such pegs are provided to mesh with critical positions in the blocks for stable junctions.
Abstract:
A building product is described which is molded from a cementitious material mix, the building product including a bulk portion of cementitious material mix and a top stratum that includes a surface of the building product, the top stratum including cementitious material mix into which a cementitious material enhancing agent has been migrated. Also described are methods and apparatus for making such a building product.
Abstract:
The invention is a demounted architectural building block, with no ends or limitations of size and volume, area and space, ensuring custom peculiarities in the architectural structure to be established, collapsible like collapsible cardboard boxes and covering a height and volume equal amount of space it is made of, when collapsed related to storing, transportation of modular architectural building block, designed to ensure that all kinds of architectural buildings may be established indoors and outdoors; and the system of overlapping each other both in itself and in establishing architectural elements. The building block, which is the subject of the invention, contains; flexible inner structure (1), rear panel (2) material, click-fit connection wedge (3), demountable, decorative side panel (4).
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a synthetic mineral polymer brick comprising the steps: forming a die, of which cavity cross-section is the same as the cross-section of the brick to be produced, and two compressing rods, which can move opposite to each other; metering batch of cement, silic mineral, water and polymer binding additives; uniformly blending and providing the humidity for the batch to form a semidry batch; feeding the semidry batch into the die cavity; displacing a first compressing rod in a first direction to press the fed semidry batch in the die; displacing a second rod in a second direction to press the fed semidry batch in the die to form a pre-shaped brick in the die; displacing the first compressing rod in the second direction to be drawn out of the die; nextly displacing the second rod in the second direction to push and bring the pre-shaped brick out of the die; and displacing the second rod in the first direction to return to the original position that is available for the next cycle.
Abstract:
A block wall system includes a plurality of T-shaped blocks having a head defining projecting load shoulders and a shaft having a first end attached to the head and a second end. There is also provided a plurality of complementary blocks having a first end and a second end. Each of the complementary blocks is shaped to fit securely between a pair of adjacent T- shaped blocks with the first end of each complementary block abutting the load shoulders of the T-shaped blocks to limit relative movement in a first axial direction. The preferred form to have the shaft of the T-shaped blocks wedge shaped and for the complementary blocks is to be wedge blocks. The wedge engagement between the wedge shaped shaft and the wedge blocks limits movement in a second axial direction.
