Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft hitzehärtende Dichtstoffzusammensetzungen, welche mindestens Epoxidharz, Dicyandiamid oder ein Arminkomplex einer Lewis-Säure, Isocyanatgruppen aufweisendes Polyurethanpolymer (PUP) sowie Polyaldimin umfassen. Diese einkomponentigen Dichtstoffzusammensetzungen zeichnen sich durch eine schnelle Hautbildung und eine hohe Zugfestigkeit aus. Aufgrund der kurzen Hautbildungszeit sind sie bestens für den Einsatz als Dichtstoffe im Automobil-Rohbau geeignet, da sie exzellent mit einem KTL-Lack überschichtet werden können.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung beschichteter Dosendeckel aus Aluminiumband und basiert auf der Erkenntnis, dass bei Verwendung von Wasser basierten Lacken enthaltend ein Copolymer oder eine Copolymerenmischung zumindest eines aliphatischen und acyclischen Alkens mit zumindest einer α,β-ungesättigten Carbonsäure in wasserdispergierter Form sowie ein Härtersystem flexible, gut umformbare Beschichtungen mit hoher Abriebsbeständigkeit resultieren. In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform des Verfahrens kann auf die Aufbringung eines Lackhaftgrundes gänzlich verzichtet werden, wenn als Härtersystem wasserlösliche Verbindungen der Elemente Zr und/oder Ti im Lack eingesetzt werden.
