Abstract:
An electronic document (e.g., a Web page) is automatically parsed for desired information (e.g., contact information such as a telephone number) and that information is marked or otherwise designated to show that it is transferable to a communication device (e.g., a mobile phone) or other location. Upon user request, the information is so transferred via a transfer agent, which formats the content appropriately for the chosen destination, using an appropriate network or other communication means.
Abstract:
Apparatus for focusing a charged particle beam onto a surface, including a charged particle beam generator which is adapted to project the charged particle beam onto a location on the surface, thereby causing charges to be emitted from the location. The apparatus further includes an imaging detector which is adapted to receive the charges so as to form an image of the location, and an aberrating element which is positioned before the imaging detector and which is adapted to produce an aberration in the image. A processor is adapted to receive the image and to adjust at least one of the charged particle beam generator and a position of the surface in response to the aberration.
Abstract:
A method and system are presented for use in controlling the quality of a reticle. The method includes processing and analyzing reference data and test data, and generating output data indicative of the current condition of the reticle. The reference data is indicative of at least a portion of a reference pattern, which is produced on a reference article by using said reticle, when in a satisfied condition. The test data is indicative of a test pattern produced on an identicle article using said reticle when in the current condition, a certain time period after said reticle has been in use or stored.
Abstract:
Apparatus for optical inspection of a sample includes a detector assembly, which is configured to receive radiation from a focal area on the sample, and a translation mechanism, which is operative to impart motion to at least one of the detector assembly and the sample so that the focal area of the detector assembly translates over the sample along a translation path. A height sensor is positioned in a known location relative to the detector assembly so as to measure a height of the height sensor relative to a point on the sample that is ahead of the focal area by a predetermined distance along the translation path. A controller is adapted to determine an estimated height of the detector assembly, responsively to the height measured by the height sensor along the translation path.
Abstract:
A process in which a wafer is exposed to a first chemically reactive precursor dose insufficient to result in a maximum saturated ALD deposition rate on the wafer, and then to a second chemically reactive precursor dose, the precursors being distributed in a manner so as to provide substantially uniform film deposition. The second chemically reactive precursor dose may likewise be insufficient to result in a maximum saturated ALD deposition rate on the wafer or, alternatively, sufficient to result in a starved saturating deposition on the wafer. The process may or may not include purges between the precursor exposures, or between one set of exposures and not another.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for process monitoring based upon X-ray emission induced by a beam of charged particles such as electrons or ions. Concept as expressed herein.
Abstract:
A method and system for defect localization includes: (i) receiving a test structure that includes at least one conductor that is at least partially covered by an electro-optically active material; (ii) providing an electrical signal to the conductor, such as charge at least a portion of the conductor; and (iii) imaging the test structure to locate a defect.
Abstract:
Apparatus for imaging an area of a surface along a viewing angle that is oblique to the surface includes an afocal optical relay (192), which is adapted to form a tilted initial image of the area by collecting optical radiation from the area along an optical axis oriented at the viewing angle. A tilt correction unit (194) is coupled to correct a tilt of the initial image so as to form a substantially undistorted intermediate image. A magnification module (198) is coupled to focus the intermediate image onto an image detector.
Abstract:
Apparatus for generating optical radiation includes a laser, which is configured to operate in multiple transverse modes simultaneously so as to generate an input beam, which is characterized by a first speckle contrast. The transverse modes of the input beam are optically mixed so as to generate an output beam have a second speckle contrast, which is substantially less than the first speckle contrast.
Abstract:
A printer and method for recording a predefined multiple intensity level image on a substrate, the method includes the steps of: converting the predetermined image to multiple intensity level associated images; converting a light beam to multiple light beam arrays; modulating each light beam array to provide modulated light beam arrays, in response to a corresponding intensity level associated image to be recorded on the substrate; directing each modulated light beam array to impinge on the substrate; and repeating the steps of converting, modulating and directing while moving the substrate until the predefined image is imaged on the substrate. The printer includes a programmable optical radiation source for providing multiple modulated light beam arrays and for directing the modulated light beam arrays to impinge on the substrate, each modulated light beam array being modulated in response to an input signal corresponding to a corresponding intensity level associated image to be recorded on the substrate; whereas a superposition of the intensity level associated images forms the predefined image on the substrate, and a movable stage for moving the substrate until the predefined image is imaged on the substrate.
