A digital microscope includes a base, a digital camera, a LED light source, a light source power supply, a USB connector, a fine focus, an objective lens, a slide stage, a condenser lens, a condenser, a condenser adjuster, and a diaphragm adjuster, wherein the slide stage is independently controllable, the objective lens is independently controllable, the condenser lens, condenser adjuster, and the condenser are independently controllable, there is no viewing lens, and the light source is powered via USB.

A new and improved method and apparatus for lowering a seat lid is described herein. A toilet flushing apparatus includes a handle, a handle adapter, the adapter operatively connected to the handle, a handle extension, the handle extension operatively connected to the handle adapter, the handle extension, extending downwardly from the handle adapter, and at least two spaced apart grooves, the grooves located in the handle adapter, the handle extension connected to the handle adapter via one of the grooves.

The lubricants of the present invention comprise: 1) at least one vegetable oil selected from the group comprising: natural vegetable oil, synthetic vegetable oil, genetically modified vegetable oil, and mixtures thereof: 2) at least one FTGTL synthetic base oil having a sulfur content equal to or less than 0.03 percent, saturates equal to or greater than 90 percent, and a viscosity index equal to or greater than 120: and 3) at least one antioxidant.

Abstract:
A process of making a fuel product from a non-combustible high protein organic material such as a biological by-product or waste material. The moisture content of the high protein organic material is mechanically reduced and dried to reduce the moisture content to less than ten percent (10%). The high protein organic material is pulverized to a particle size of less than about 2 mm. The high protein organic waste material is fed into a combustion chamber and separated during combustion such as by spraying of the high protein organic waste material within the combustion chamber. Temperature and nitrogenous hydrocarbon combustion reactions within the combustion chamber are also controlled by injection of steam within the combustion chamber.

A system and a method are provided for an axial flow through chemical reactor that provides for the separation of hydrogen from a hydrocarbon feedstock and to form longer chain hydrocarbon molecules. The system consists of a radial magnetic field and an axial electric field in a cylindrical device, and a method of exciting flow through gas molecules by means of Lorentz Force to cause centrifugal force on the gas stream in the radial direction, inducing high molecular sheer in the rotating gas stream causes hydrogen to be removed from the rotating gas column, high molecular density forces radical hydrocarbon molecules to combine in the absence of Hydrogen.
Abstract:
A latching assembly uses a flat sheet metal chassis with electrical switches, an electrical motor driving a cam, a push rod, a hook, a spring, and various actuators/levers. When a first actuator/lever is moved by an outside force, a circuit connection may be opened or closed depending upon the configuration of the electro-mechanical system. This will generate a signal which will allow current to flow to a motor. The motor will, in tum, drive the cam which will push a second actuator/lever to move and cause a hook to move from a first, non-latching position to a second, latching position. The assembly is useful for latching an oven or other appliance door when operating at high temperature.

A method of testing an earth sample and an apparatus for executing the method are disclosed herein. The method includes the steps of obtaining at least one earth sample. The method also includes the steps of detecting one or more counts of decay from the at least one earth sample. The detected count is at least one level of radiation decay energy from among a plurality of possible levels of radiation decay energy associated with decay daughters of Radium 226 and/or 228. The method also includes the steps of deriving a level of radiation emission activity of the at least one earth sample based on the one or more counts of decay detected in said detecting step.
Abstract:
This disclosure is of a biometric authentication system and method. The system includes a mobile device having a camera and a screen, and a database. The system is programmed to superimpose on the screen an overlay of a finger over a real-time image seen by the camera, capture an image of a fingerprint of a user with the camera, compare the captured image with an authenticated fingerprint image that is stored in the database, and return a positive result if the compared images match.
Abstract:
An auscultation system may include an auscultation device, a simulation unit, a speaker and a proximity sensor that detects the proximity of the auscultation device and emits a signal in response. The auscultation system may also include a database storing multiple sound files and a controller. The controller may receive the signal, select one of the sound files and transmit the selected sound file to the speaker in response to the signal. In one embodiment, the simulation unit is attached to a live subject. In another embodiment, the simulation unit is attached to a mannequin.
