Abstract:
Abstract:
A wearable timepiece having at least one rotateable elongated member, preferably a ring, under the dial, having a plurality of time zone indications thereon, wherein a controller controls the rotation of the at least one elongated member and causes an indicator to rotate in response to a selected time zone indication positioned in a viewing window in the dial, wherein the indicator points to indicia on the dial assembly that indicates to a user the time indicated by the selected time zone indication.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a world clock, the hour hands of which are not biased in one direction and maintain evenness during operation, and which enables a region and time to be easily discerned even from a far distance, and more particularly, to a world clock comprising: a character plate; a character plate coupled to a movement of twelve integrated hour hands displaying hour numerals from 1 to 12 in series, a minute hand, and a second hand, and rotating to enable the time in multiple regions to be discerned; an hour hand supporting member disposed at the front of the character plate and coupled to the movement in order to rotate; and said twelve hour hands coupled to the hour hand supporting member, respectively. As the hour hands are formed separately, manufacturing is easy and manufacturing costs are low, and the hour hands are prevented from moving forward or backward and do not deviate while rotating, so as to accurately display the time.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a watch. In particular, the present invention relates to an analogue watch which can show the time around the world, and/or show the phases of the moon. The watch comprises a time display means having at least one hand for pointing to time indicia (11) to indicate the time, a first area (113) of marking indicating time indicia corresponding to night, a second area (112) of marking indicating time indicia corresponding to day, and varying means (17, 18) for varying the first and/or second areas of marking such that the correspondence of time indicia to night and day can be varied.
Abstract:
A method of synchronizing an event system. The method includes receiving a first signal at a primary device, where the first signal includes a time component, and processing the first signal to produce a second signal, where the second signal includes the time component and an instruction. The method also includes wirelessly transmitting the second signal to a repeating device, wirelessly receiving the second signal at the repeating device, and wirelessly transmitting a third signal from the repeating device, where the third signal includes the time component and the instruction. The method further includes wirelessly receiving the third signal at a secondary device and executing an event with the third signal.
Abstract:
The global timepiece (10) comprises a transparent disk (22) arranged overhead the face (14) which comprises a New Day Line (34) extending radially from the center outward to an indice indicating midnight. The disk (22) is operationally connected to a rotatable shaft (38) or other drive mechanism by which it is moving 360° in clockwise direction within 24 hours. The disk (22) comprises an International Date Line indicia (44) and time zone indicia represented by cities or areas or marks representing a time zone geographically located within each corresponding time zone. Two windows (36) for the indication of two successive dates are cut into the face (14). These windows (36) are aligned astride the New Day Line (34). A wheel (35) is arranged beneath these windows (36) and is moving counterclockwise and indicates on its circumferential top area the dates (1 to 31). By this wheel (25), the timepiece shows two successive dates in the windows (36) and which world locations are in which date.
