Abstract:
Abstract:
A bicycle convertible from a bicycle mode to a stroller mode comprises a frame having a front portion supporting a carrier and a rear portion. A front wheel supports the front portion of the frame, and a rear wheel supporting the rear portion of the frame in the bicycle mode. The rear portion of the frame is hinged to the front portion of the frame such that to convert the bicycle from the bicycle mode to the stroller mode the rear portion of the frame can be moved alongside the front portion of the frame to position the rear wheel to support a one side of the rear portion of the carrier. An auxiliary wheel, movable between a raised position raised from a riding surface in the bicycle mode can be moved to a lowered position contacting the riding surface in the stroller mode to supports the other side of the carrier.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A vehicle (10, 200, 300) comprising a frame, a front wheel and at least one rear wheel; and directly or indirectly attached to said frame, a front seat that faces forwards such that in normal use a first rider can sit thereon and to steer the vehicle as it moves forward and a rear seat for a second rider that faces backwards; having a rear rider crank assembly (42,44) and a front rider crank assembly (36) and where a wheel hub (52) and a connected rear sprocket (46), or sprocket bush (56) and a connected rear sprocket (46), are rotatably mounted around the crankshaft (42) of the rear rider crank assembly such that in use pedal power from a rear rider is first transmitted through the rear pedals (34) and rear crank assembly, via a cross-over drive chain (38), to the front rider crank assembly.
Abstract:
Composite material, its use and method for its production; the material comprises a first and a second outer layer (2, 3) and an inner layer (4), which has a first non-woven fibrous material and is positioned in contact between the first and the second layer (2, 3); the first and the second outer layer (2, 3) are interconnected by means of at least one resin; the inner layer (4) is partially saturated by said resin and has at least one substantially non- impregnated area (5).
Abstract:
A three axis bicycle-to-trailer connecting device which a flexible connecting mechanism includes three axes of rotation each implemented by a different pivot. Such a pivot may be implemented on an independent connecting device or on the trailer or on the bicycle. A retaining mechanism keeps the trailer linked to the bicycle, in such a manner as the trailer may be easily connected or disconnected, typically to be carried manually.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a single-wheel trailer for all-terrain touring bike. The trailer is fixed on the saddle rod via a hitch linkage (3) comprising a fixing part (9a, 9b) on the saddle extended by a plate (11) from which projects a vertical shaft (13) whereon is articulated a fork joint (15) interlocked with a rod (16) of the trailer body.
Abstract:
A trailer (18) of the type for securing to and following a bicycle. The trailer (18) includes a frame, a wheel (12) rotatably mounted on the frame, and an extension member (20) having first and second ends. The first end is hingedly connected to the frame such that the extension member (20) is selectively positionable between an extended position (30) wherein the extension member extends outwardly from the frame and a folded position wherein the extension member is disposed adjacent the frame for compactness of storage and transport.

Abstract:
An all-terrain stroller (10) with an object carrying means positioned between the wheels (16, 17) for receiving and carrying bulky items such as medical life support devices and the like with a frame configuration which permits the stroller (10) to be collapsible for storage and transport. A stub axle (14, 15) for each wheel (16, 17) is removably mounted on the lower frame on tubular members (30, 31) extending along each side of the wheels (16, 17) so that the wheels are each easily removed from the frames (30, 31) for transportation and storage. A pair of upper frame members (61, 62) are pivotally connected to the lower frame (30, 31) at a position in front of the front wheel (18) and at upright frame members (34, 35) to permit folding of the frame. The front wheel (18) is mounted in a castor mount for easy steering of the device and may be removable for storage and transport. The pair of upper frame members (61, 62) may extend in a parallel relationship over a portion of their length and then converge toward said front wheel (18) or may be substantially straight along their length, converging toward the front wheel (18).
