Abstract:
A sheet material roll control device (10) that comprises a series of protrusions (24, 28) that periodically intersect with each other while the sheet material roll rotates. One set of protrusions (24, 28) are located on a base (22) while another set of protrusions (24, 28) are located on a roll plate (16). The roll plate (16) is designed to fit on the end of a spindle (44) that sits inside the surrounding the spindle (44) is an insert (31) that rests flush inside the roll core (32). This insert (31) fills the gap between the roll core (32) and the outer shell of the spindle (44). With this insert (31), when the roll (14) rotates, the spindle (44) rotates with the roll (14), causing the roll plate (16) to turn and periodically intersect protrusions (24, 28) located on the base (22), causing the rolling rate of the roll (14) to slow down.
Abstract:
A dispenser (10, 40, 100) for a coreless roll product (12) having a pair of depressions defined in the ends of the coreless roll (12). The dispenser includes: a frame (14, 42, 102); mounting means for permitting the frame to be mounted to a stationary surface such as wall; and a coreless roll securing means (18, 46, 106) for securing a coreless roll product (12) for rotation within the frame (14, 42, 102). The coreless roll securing means (18, 46, 106) includes a pair of cooperating plungers (28, 52, 114). Each plunger (28, 52, 114) includes: (1) a base, the base being fixed to the frame (14, 42, 102); (2) a distal end, the distal end having a radius of curvature; and (3) a central shaft, the central shaft connecting the base and the distal end and providing sufficient length so the plunger (28, 52, 114) has a length at least as great as its widest dimension so the plunger (28, 52, 114) is adapted to penetrate a depression defined at an end of a coreless roll product (12), so radial displacement of the coreless roll (12) with respect to said frame is prevented during use. Also disclosed is a method for installing a coreless roll (12) of a product.
Abstract:
An apparatus (10) for dispensing toilet tissue and at least one other product is disclosed. A top wall (80) and two opposing side walls (30, 40) are connected together to form a housing (110). The apparatus (10) is readily attachable to ordinary toilet tissue roll holders (150) using a spindle (51) of the roll holder and without the need for adhesives or the like. The apparatus (10) receives at least one roll of toilet tissue by a spindle (70) or by other known hardware. The top wall (80) is adapted for holding additional products.
Abstract:
A roll (1) of band-shaped paper material, such as toilet paper and towel material, wound round a hollow, cylindrical core (12) of a readily degradable material, such as cardboard, paper pulp, starch or wood pulp, or another recyclable material, wherein at least one rib (5) is located adjacent one of the ends of the roll, which rib extends from the inside surface of the hollow core in the hollow core space bounded thereby, while such a rib is absent at the other end of the roll. A holder (20) for including such a roll and comprising a housing (20) having roll-supporting means (23), which reach into the cylindrical core and on the side where one or more ribs are located in the hollow cylindrical core consist of a wing fitting diametrically in that core with play, which wing is mounted for rotation relative to the housing and can come into striking contact with a rib.
Abstract:
A hanger-support for use in bath room to hang or support various articles such as towels and the like is disclosed. A securing member (3) is secured on the wall of the bath room, and a subassembly consisting of a connecting member (2), an outer case (1) and a hanging member (4) is secured to the securing member by means of a bolt (9). The hanging member is provided with a pair of legs (11, 11'), and these legs are inserted into the leg insertion holes (6, 6', 7, 7') formed on both the outer case and the connecting member. Further, the legs of the hanging member are respectively provided with neck portions (11a, 11'a) through which the head of the bolt (9) is passed to secure the hanging member to the connecting member. The device of the present invention provides multiple functions with a single unit, and therefore, it serves for the usefulness and the aesthetic aspect of the bath room.
Abstract:
A rolled media dispenser is disclosed. In one example, the dispenser includes a transfer bar for automatically transferring paper from a completely depleted stub roll to a primary roll. In one example, the transfer bar includes a lift member that prevents transfer of the paper from the stub roll to the primary roll when paper in the stub roll is present and includes a cam lift member that prevents the transfer of paper from the stub roll to the primary roll as long as paper from the stub roll is present beneath the cam lift member.
Abstract:
Methods, systems and apparatus for dynamically adjusting product use reporting schedules for dispensers to increase or decrease the frequency of such reports based on expected product use such as a date the dispenser is expected to be depleted.
Abstract:
A wet/dry sheet dispenser. The dispenser has an elongate refill which holds a liquid and fits into a complementary base. Liquid is selectively dispensed from the refill by longitudinal activation of a pump. The pump may be disposed on either the refill or base. Liquid flows from the refill, upwardly to a dispensing cup. The user may then, optionally, take a sheet and wet it with liquid from the cup at the point of use. This arrangement allows for convenient and selective one hand pump operation, so the other hand is free to grasp the sheet. The sheet may be used wet or dry as desired at the point of use.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Dispenser with a frame which comprises a dispensing mechanism with filling for the purpose of dispensing a predetermined quantity of the filling, wherein the dispenser further comprises a camera, a processor and a memory, wherein the camera can form an image of at least a portion of the filling, wherein a predetermined reference image is stored in the memory, and wherein the processor is provided for the purpose of determining a similarity between image and reference image, wherein the processor is further provided for the purpose of stopping the dispensing mechanism when said similarity lies below a predetermined value.
