Abstract:
A liquid dispensing system (100) is provided. The liquid dispensing system (100) comprises a fluid applicator (130) with an inlet and an outlet. The liquid dispensing system also comprises a fluid flow path comprising an inlet configured to couple to a fluid source (110) on a first end, and the fluid applicator (130) on a second end. The liquid dispensing system (100) also comprises a pump system (120) configured to drive flow of fluid from the fluid source (110) along the fluid flow path to the fluid applicator (130). The liquid dispensing system (130) also comprises a pressure relief system (132). The pressure relief system (132) comprises a return line (126). The pressure relief system (132) also comprises a pressure relief valve (216). The pressure relief system (132) when actuated, is configured to actuate a pressure relief valve (216) such that the return line (126) receives a portion of fluid within the fluid flow path in response to a detected pressure proximate the fluid applicator (130).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a spray nozzle comprising an elastomeric tube (1) comprising a proximal end (7) through which a fluid is intended to enter said tube (1), and a distal end (8). The spray nozzle also comprises a slit (9) formed in the elastomeric tube (1) between the proximal end (7) and the distal end (8), for spraying the fluid out from the elastomeric tube (1). The elastomeric tube (1) includes a reinforcing element (10, 11) for limiting deformation of the elastomeric tube (1). By providing a slit in a tube between the proximal and distal ends of the tube, the slit can be sized to provide a broad spread pattern to the spray. The reinforcing element prevents over-expansion or deformation of the elastomeric tube.
Abstract:
A high pressure cleaner with adjustable flow and/or pressure. A controller (CTL) serves to receive a wireless control signal (WCS) from a remote control unit (RCU), e.g. integrated in the spray handle (SH), in response to an input from a user. The controller (CTL) controls the high pressure module (HPM), e.g. electric power to its electric motor, so as to adjust a flow and/or pressure level at the liquid output (L_O) of the high pressure module (HPM) in accordance with the wireless control signal (WCS), between a plurality of different flow and/or pressure levels in an active state of the high pressure module (HPM). Further, the controller may be arranged to switch off electric power to the motor of the high pressure module (HPM) and/or activate a safety valve in response to a wireless control signal (WCS). The user interface (U_I) that allows the user to enter the desired flow and/or pressure level, may further visualize the flow and/or pressure level to the user.

Abstract:
A high pressure capable fluid sprayer includes a piston pump, a main pump housing, and a spray tip. The piston pump has a piston disposed to pump a fluid. The spray tip has an outlet aperture configured to atomize and spray the fluid. The main pump housing is formed of compliant plastic and rated for at least 1600 psi, defines a main pump chamber surrounding the piston, and is disposed to receive fluid from a fluid source.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing device includes an electrostatic discharge protection system. Accumulation and discharge of electrostatic energy created by operation of the device is reduced or prevented by the electrostatic discharge protection system without an earth ground connection. The electrostatic discharge protection system may include a number of features, such as a static wick, nonconductive components that electrically isolate the spray tip of the device, nonconductive isolation barriers, nonconductive fluid reservoir and suction tube components, a nonconductive coating of a control valve component, and a nonconductive spring retainer of the control valve.
