Composition élastomère comportant au moins, à titre d'élastomère majoritaire, un élastomère thermoplastique SIBS comprenant un bloc « polyisobutylène » et, à au moins une des extrémités du bloc « polyisobutylène », un bloc thermoplastique de structure spécifique ayant une Tg supérieure ou égale à 100°C. La composition élastomère selon l'invention peut être utilisée comme couche élastomère étanche aux gaz de gonflage dans un objet pneumatique. Cet objet pneumatique est en particulier une chambre à air ou un bandage pneumatique pour véhicule automobile.

The invention provides a novel block polymer applicable to a light-emitting device. The block polymer has an electron-transporting block and a hole-transporting block, wherein the main chain backbone of the block polymer is polyacetylene.

A method of preparing a compound of formula (III), comprising reacting a compound of formula (I), with a compound of formula (II), thereby producing the compound of formula (III). The definitions of variables are provided herein. Compounds of formula (III) can be used to manufacture implantable or insertable medical devices, as a coating of medical devices, as artificial vascular grafts, as medical drug eluting articles and as drug eluting coatings.

The invention relates to a sequenced copolymer, to a composition comprising said copolymer, and to a cosmetic treatment method. The invention especially relates to a linear, ethylenic, sequenced copolymer containing at least one ionic hydrophilic pattern in each sequence. Said pattern can be different from one sequence to the next, and each sequence contains between 2 and 100 wt. % thereof in relation to the weight of said sequence. The invention also relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising one such copolymer, and to a cosmetic make-up method or a care method for keratin materials using said composition.

A block polymer comprised of a polyalkenyl ether main chain comprises a first block segment having hydrophobicity; a second block segment having an upper limit hydration temperature exceeding 70°C; and a third block segment having an ionic property. A polymer-containing composition comprises the block polymer, a solvent or a dispersing medium, and a functional substance. An ink composition comprises the polymer-containing composition wherein the functional substance is colorant. A liquid application method comprises the steps of preparing the polymer-containing composition; and applying the polymer-containing composition to a medium. A liquid application apparatus comprises a liquid application means which makes energy act on the polymer-containing composition to apply the composition; and a drive means which drives the liquid application means. The polymer compound is capable of satisfactorily dispersing a functional substance in a solvent.
