The invention concerns a process for the preparation of a beverage in a beverage machine with a capsule comprising an enclosure containing tea leaves comprising the steps of : a) introducing water in the capsule to submerge the tea leaves in the capsule enclosure, then b) letting the tea leaves soak, then c) introducing water in the capsule until the required volume of beverage is delivered, wherein water is continuously introduced in the capsule from the beginning of step a) until the end of step b).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kapsel (1) und ein Gerät zur Zubereitung eines Aufgussgetränkes, wie zum Beispiel Kaffee, Tee oder Milchgetränke. Die Kapsel (1) umfasst zwei, parallel verlaufende Wandabschnitte (11) und (13), die durch eine Siegelverbindung (14) miteinander verbunden sind. Durch einen Zugang (15) zur Siegelverbindung (14) der Kapsel (1) kann mit der Hilfe einer Zuleitung (21) in einer Halterung (20) des Gerätes ein unter Druck stehendes flüssiges oder gasförmiges Medium geleitet werden, so dass die Siegelverbindung (14) teilweise aufgetrennt wird. Dadurch entsteht eine Öffnung (16) in der Kapsel. Durch diese Öffnung (16) kann eine Aufgussflüssigkeit geleitet werden, die sich dann mit einem in der Kapsel (1) befindlichen Pulver oder Granulat zu einem Aufgussgetränk vermischen kann. Durch eine weitere Öffnung kann dieses Aufgussgetränk ausgelassen werden. Bei diesem Verfahren zum Öffnen der Kapsel kommen keine Gegenstände oder Teile des Gerätes mit der Aufgussflüssigkeit oder des Aufgussgetränkes in Kontakt. Dadurch wird eine Kontamination verhindert. Zudem gibt es weniger Verschleissteile, wie Nadeln oder Messer, die stumpf werden könnten.

The present invention refers to an apparatus (1) for feeding capsules (4), preferably single-use capsules for the preparation of beverages, infusions and the like, for beverage vending machines. The apparatus of the invention comprises a storage chamber (2, 22) for storing capsules (4) in a random arrangement, pick-up means (10, 210) for picking up said capsules (4), a capsule transfer device (13, 213) provided with one or more compartments (14, 214) for said capsules (4), at least an unloading conveyor (19, 219) for unloading said capsules (4).
