    摘要： An on-screen interface for commerce over a broadcast video network includes a first window configured to display a list identifying one or more products, a second window configured to simultaneously display broadcast video programming, and a third window configured to display detailed information regarding a product selected by the user from the list of products displayed in the first window. The list of products may be associated with the received broadcast video programming or correspond to a user preference. The user may input for transmission over the broadcast video network, requests to purchase the selected product, obtain further information regarding the selected product, and save the identity of the selected product for the user's future use.

    摘要： An electronic commerce system architecture can be used in networks having a plurality of network devices, each representing a respective network user. The system architecture includes a plurality of first servers. Each of these servers communicates with a plurality of network devices associated with a first network. One of the first servers receives and further transmits a product related request from one of the network devices. Product related data is received in response to the further transmitted request and transmitted to the one network device in response to the originally received product related request. Another server has a database storing product related data. This other server receives the further transmitted product related request, and transmits stored product related data to the server from which that request is received. This other server still further transmits the received product related request. A central server, having another database storing the product related data, transmits the product related data stored in the second database to the other server, and receives the product related request from the other server. The central server stores the received request in the other database.
