    Abstract: A breast pump includes a cup assembly for engaging at least a portion of a breast including a nipple and an area surrounding the nipple, a vacuum pump assembly for applying a vacuum to the cup assembly, a container fluidly connected to the cup assembly for receiving milk expressed from the nipple of the breast, a sensor assembly positioned in the container, and a controller. The sensor assembly includes a first contact and a second contact. The controller includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions that when executed by the processor configure the controller to periodically detect a measurement indicative of a capacitance between the first and second contacts of the sensor assembly, and operate the vacuum pump assembly to apply a vacuum to the cup assembly based at least in part on the detected measurement indicative of the capacitance between the first and second contacts.

    Abstract: A cell formation system for lithium containing secondary batteries includes a population of formation clusters, each formation cluster includes a connector configured for connecting to a lithium containing secondary battery, a charging module connected to the connector and configured to charge the battery, a pre-lithiation module connected to the connector and configured to diffuse lithium to electrode active material layers of the battery, a discharging module connected to the connector and configured to discharge the battery, and a communication interface for communicatively coupling the formation cluster to a central controller. In response to received instructions from the central controller, the formation cluster is configured to charge the battery using the charging module, diffuse lithium to the electrode active material layers of the battery using the pre-lithiation module, and discharge the secondary battery using the discharging module after lithium has been diffused to the electrode active material layers of the battery.

    Abstract: A quantum computing system providing quantum processing as a service includes a quantum computing device and a server including at least one classical processor. The server is configured to: create a first job queue that includes a plurality of jobs configured to be executed on the first quantum computing device; receive, from a client device, a request for execution of a quantum program; add a first job entry to the first job queue for the request, the first job entry includes a quantum circuit for a first job; perform an optimization process on the quantum circuit of the first job; transmit the updated quantum circuit to the first quantum computing device for execution by the first quantum computing device using the plurality of qubits; receive, from the quantum computing device, execution results from the execution of the updated quantum circuit; and transmit the execution results to the client device.
