Abstract:
Subject of the present invention are polyether polyol dendron conjugates comprising a specific polyether polyol dendron moiety, at least one certain fluorescent effector molecule (E). Such polyether polyol dendron conjugates may be used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, whereby the optical properties of the at least one certain fluorescent effector molecule are enhanced due to the attachment to the polyether polyol dendron conjugate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the provision of nanoparticular formulations comprising a PEG-alkyl block copolymer and a near infrared fluorescent dye, the preparation of these nanoparticular formulations, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the nanoparticular formulations of the present invention, as well as their use as contrast medium.

Abstract:
A first aspect of the invention relates to a device for a diagnosis and/or therapy monitoring of inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis. It comprises at least a rest or support device (1) for holding at least one extremity (11) of a person. Thereby, the support device has the task of facilitating the at least one extremity, preferably two extremities, for instance the two hands to be comfortably and immovably placed as long as possible. This support device can be provided with a rest with several accessories, such as indentations, bowl-like recesses, ridges, elastic or non-elastic straps and/or loops, etc.. Furthermore, at least an excitation source (2) for at least partially illuminating one extremity at least with a radiation of defined excitation wavelength. Furthermore, at least an image sensor (3) is incorporated for capturing at least a reference signal from the extremity as well as several signals from the regions of medical interest (ROI) of the extremity (11). Moreover, a device according to the invention comprises a comparator for comparing the reference signal with the signals from the regions of medical interest (ROI).
Abstract:
According to known methods and devices, a suitable image-producing method detects the image data of a volume of interest, segments the detected image data manually, semi-automatically or fully automatically and automatically determines dimensional information about the volume of interest on the basis of the segmented image data. The aim of the invention is to improve the suitability of the automatically detected dimensional information, especially to improve their reliability. To this end, at least one characteristic value is allocated to the steps of detecting image data and segmenting image data. Said characteristic value represents a measure of error of said steps. An error value is determined on the basis of the allocated characteristic value for any error in determining the dimensional information. Said error can be displayed or output.
