    摘要: Method of preparing and introducing fuel into the combustors of a gas turbine in which a hydrocarbon containing feed, oxygen and steam are introduced into a catalytic partial oxidation reactor at an oxygen to carbon ratio of between about 0.08 and about 0.25 and water to carbon ratio of between about 0.05 to about 0.5. The hydrocarbon containing feed contains no less than about 15 percent by volume on a dry basis of hydrocarbons with at least two carbon atoms and/or at least about 3 percent by volume of olefins. The fe oxygen and steam are introduced into the reactor at a temperature no greater than 600°C to produce a product stream at a temperat of between about 600°C and 860°C and that contains less than about 0.5 percent of olefins and less than 10 percent of hydrocarbon with two or more carbon atoms on a dry basis.

    摘要: A method of recovering carbon dioxide from a synthesis gas stream generated within a facility (1) having a synthesis gas reactor (10). After the synthesis gas stream (12) is passed through at least one process heat exchanger (56) of a steam generation system located downstream of a water-gas shift reactor (14), the temperature of the synthesis gas stream (18) is increased while simultaneously adding steam (64) to the synthesis gas stream (18). Thereafter, the synthesis gas stream is added to an absorption system (16) having an absorption zone (90) utilizing a solvent to absorb the carbon dioxide. Heat is transferred from the synthesis gas stream to a regeneration zone (82) of the absorption system (16) to promote disengagement of the carbon dioxide from the steam and such that between about 40 percent and about 90 percent of the carbon dioxide originally present in the synthesis gas stream is recovered (116).

    摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for separating air and generating electrical power. A compressed air stream produced in a main air compressor is introduced into an air separation unit that cryogenically rectifies the air into component products. During turndown conditions of the air separation unit, a combustion air stream formed from all or part of the compressed air stream is introduced into a combustor in which a fuel is combusted to produce a heated and pressurized combustion stream. Such stream is introduced to a turbine connected to an electrical generator to generate electrical power. The combustion air stream can be saturated with moisture to increase power output. Further, the combustion air stream can also be preheated with an exhaust of a gas turbine.
