Abstract:
A container (10) comprising a plurality of compartments (A, B, C) separated by compartment dividers (6), and an inlet connector (3) for receiving a liquid via a connection tube (2). The compartment dividers rupture when a sufficient pressure is applied by a liquid or gas introduced into the container (10) through the inlet connector (3). Some of the compartments comprise powder, which dissolves at the introduction of liquid into the container. A system, process and use in the field of dialysis are also disclosed.

A container (50) for mixing an enclosed medical agent with a fluid. The container comprising an inclining bottom seam (52) directed towards a connector (10, 200). The connector comprising an elongated hollow body having a plurality of interconnected walls defining a first and a second longitudinal flow channel for fluidly connecting an inside and an outside of the container. The first flow channel has a first opening (13) and a second opening (17), the first opening of the first flow channel is devised to be arranged inside of the container and the second opening of the first flow channel is devised to be arranged outside the container. The first opening of the first flow channel is arranged radially outwards from the first flow channel and directed towards said inclined bottom seam. The second flow channel has a first opening (ll) devised to be arranged inside of said container and a second opening (16) devised to be arranged outside the container arranged axially to the first opening of the second flow channel.
Abstract:
A system for monitoring and controlling a treatment workstation connectable to a patient. The treatment workstation has several sensor and functionality modules for obtaining information regarding the status of the patient, and a single control interface, including a display and an operation panel. The treatment workstation and the control interface are connected to a utility PC for processing capacity. The control interface has identification device for identification of the user and the patient, and for identification of modules and utility units and disposable and consumable products used during the process. Such identification takes place by a bar code, a PIN- code, a magnetic strip, a transponder or a data chip.

A device in a powder cartridge (11) for a dialysis machine (10), having an externally threaded neck (21) which can be closed by means of a screw cap (26). In this screw cap there is provided a normally closed valve (36) which can be adjusted to open position at insertion of the powder cartridge into the dialysis machine. The end wall (28) of the screw cap and the neck (21) have mutually cooperating means (25, 33) which are adapted, when the cap is screwed on, to be interengaged for preventing unscrewing of the cap , and the end wall (28) has a break connection with the rest of the screw cap to allow unscrewing of the cap only under breaking of the connection (29) between the end wall and the rest of the cap in order to separate the end wall from the cap.

A sterile disposable hemodiafiltration set to be connected to a dialysis machine comprising a dialyzer (14) with an extracorporeal blood path (19) and a supplying dialysis liquid supply line (10) which can be connected to the dialyzer. The hemodiafiltration set comprises a sterilized unit consisting of a hose connection (28) with a sterile filter (27) therein, said hose connection being arranged for connection at one end thereof to the extracorporeal path (19) via a separate pump (29; 30) and being provided with a three-way joint (22) at the other end thereof for connection of said latter end between the dialysis liquid supply line (10) and the dialyzer (14).

A device in a dialysis machine for exchangeable connection of a powder cartridge (11) between an inlet (56') and an outlet (56) for liquid. The inlet and the outlet are provided in one and the other, respectively, of two yaws (12, 14), and at least one of these is guided for linear displacement towards and away from the other one for engaging the yaws with the powder cartridge (11) under connection of the inlet and the outlet to a hollow stud (18, 19; 31) on the powder cartridge positioned between the yaws for conducting liquid through the cartridge, or for interengaging of the yaws for short circuit of the inlet and the outlet.

Dialysis machine for alternatively hospital care and self-care having a touch screen (16) which can be adjusted universally and to a desired vertical position on the dialysis machine and can be locked in the desired adjusted position. As a consequence thereof the touch screen can be arrested in a position in relation to the position of the person controlling the dialysis machine which allows the touch screen to be comfortably reached irrespective of the position of said person.

A method in dialysis and a dialyzer wherein a liquid fluid (B) and a dialysis liquid (D) are flown in opposite directions along and at opposite sides of a semi-permeable membrane (10). The dialysis liquid (D) is kept under an increased pressure (PD1) over a predetermined part (1) of the membrane in order to provide a filtration flow (uf) of liquid from the dialysis liquid (D) to the liquid fluid (B).

Une unite de purification d'eau comprend un module (9) d'osmose inverse avec une entree (8) d'eau non purifiee, une sortie (14) d'eau purifiee et une sortie (20) d'eau non purifiee, le module etant alimente en eau (9) a l'aide d'une pompe (7) entrainee par un moteur. Pour ameliorer le rendement du module, le moteur de la pompe est refroidi a l'aide d'une arrivee d'eau qui, par consequent, est chauffee. En meme temps, le systeme de refroidissement est utilise pour effectuer une isolation sonore effective du moteur.
