Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to prepare a particularly stable and highly concentrated solution or dispersion of at least one self-assembling protein, said solution or dispersion posing no health risk and/or being particularly environmentally friendly and allowing for efficient or improved production of molded articles or sheet material made of pure protein as well as protein impregnations or coatings in a large variety of fields of application. According to the invention, the protein solution or protein dispersion comprises, in an aqueous solution or dispersion, at least one physically stabilized self-assembling protein having a protein concentration of 5 to 35 wt.%, preferably 5 to 30 wt.%, especially preferably 5 to 25 wt.%, relative to the total weight of the stable solution or dispersion, in particular with a stability of at least 5 hours, preferably more than 12 hours, especially preferably more than 20 hours or even more than 48 hours. No added chemical stabilizer is included or required.

A slide ring seal, comprising a rotating counter ring (1) and a stationary slide ring (2), wherein the counter ring (1) and the slide ring (2) have in each case sealing surfaces (1a, 2a) which bear against one another and wherein the sealing surface (1a) of the counter ring (1) faces the sealing surface (2a) of the slide ring (2), solves the problem of developing and refining a slide ring seal such that it ensures a reliable function even at varying and different sliding speeds, pressures and temperatures.

A nonwoven fabric, comprising fibers of a fiber raw material containing gelatin, the fibers being provided with an antimicrobially effective agent and/or an antibiotic, with respect to the object of the invention to produce a bioresorbable nonwoven fabric with sufficient strength in a cost-effective way is characterized in that the fibers are produced by a rotating spinning method. The invention further relates to a rotating spinning method for the production of the nonwoven fabric.

The invention relates to a fixable textile fabric which can be used especially as an interlining material in the textile industry. The inventive fixable textile fabric comprises a carrier based on a non-woven fabric, a woven cloth, a knitted fabric or the like, which is provided with an adhesive coating at least one side. At least one additional layer consisting of fibres and having a pre-determined functionality is applied to the adhesive coating.

The invention relates to a thermoformable supporting component comprising at least one nonwoven layer and a binding agent system based on cross-linkable polymers that is distributed throughout said layer and that does not contain and/or produce formaldehyde. According to the invention, said layer has a dry mass per unit area of between 100 and 1200 g/m for a thickness of 1-100 mm and contains no fibreglass. The invention also relates to thermoformed supporting components produced from said constituents.
