An apparatus (1) for transferring, at high speed and in a very effective and accurate manner, particulate material (100) from a feeder (30) into reservoirs (50) of a moving endless surface, e.g. a drum, by use of a pressure means, e.g. a specific three-dimensional plate (10), for applying pressure onto said particulate material (100) present between said plate (10) and said moving endless surface, and then transferring the particulate material (100) with said moving endless surface with reservoirs (50) to a substrate (110); the apparatus (1) and method being in particular useful for the production of absorbent structures for absorbent articles.

The present invention relates to a method of applying absorbent gelling material (AGM) granules by indirect printing onto an carrier layer for use in an absorbent article, particularly diaper for babies or adults, training pants, pull-up diapers (diaper pants), sanitary napkins, panty liners or the like. These articles typically comprise the carrier layer with the AGM particles together with further layers, making up the complete article.

An apparatus for transferring, at high speed and in a very effective and accurate and cost effective manner, particulate material from a first moving endless surface with reservoir(s) to a second moving endless surface carrying a substrate material, such as a nonwoven web material, and transferring said combination of substrate material with particulate material toa further apparatus unit; said second moving endless surface is adjacent and in communication with a first and a second vacuum chamber, with different vacuum pressures and/or different size. Also a process is provided, using the described apparatus.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing mercaptoacetyl triglycine labeled with a radionuclide, comprising the steps of adding a radionuclide to a solution that comprises a mercaptoacetyl triglycine dimer of formula VI, a reducing agent and optionally a transfer ligand and heating the thus obtained solution. The invention relates to the mercaptoacetyl triglycine dimer and its use in the method, to a kit for performing the method and to the formulation obtained from the method.
