Propylene impact copolymers (ICPs) are provided which comprise: (a) a matrix phase which comprises from 60 to 95 weight % of a polypropylene polymer containing from 0 to 6 mole % of units derived from one or more alpha- olefins other than propylene, and (b) a dispersed phase which comprises from 5 to 40 weight % of a copolymer derived from a first comonomer which can be either propylene or ethylene together with a second alpha- olefin comonomer. The ICP is further characterized by having a beta/alpha ratio less than or equal to 1.1. The ICPs of the present invention are particularly well suited for applications requiring clear, tough polymers such as thin walled injection molded articles for frozen food packaging applications.

The preformed component (6) is mounted relative to the pipe (4) such that the recess (14) at least partially defines a cavity (20) between the pipe and the preformed component. A filler material (23) is located within the cavity (20). The method comprises melting and solidifying the filler material (23) and the material of at least one of the pipe (4) and the preformed component (6) to fuse said filler material and at least one of the pipe and preformed component together to secure the preformed component to the pipe.

Des Weiteren umfasst das hydraulische Bremssystem ein Volumen-Anpassungselement in hydraulischer Verbindung mit der wenigstens einen Radbremse und dem Kraft-Druck-Umwandlungselement sowie eine Betätigungseinheit zur Betätigung des Kraft-Druck-Umwandlungselements. The present compositions contain a random copolymer of propylene and α-olefin. Polymerization with an improved catalyst composition increases the molecular weight distribution of the copolymer and increases the randomness of comonomer distribution to yield random propylene/α-olefin copolymers with improved stiffness and/or improved optical properties.

The process comprises: -generating a first burst of pulses at a first pulse repetition frequency and subsequently receiving a first set of signals characteristic of the range and velocity of the object; -generating a second burst of pulses at a second pulse repetition frequency and subsequently receiving a second set of signals characteristic of range and velocity of the object; -generating a first data set representative of range and corresponding velocity values from the first set of signals; -generating a second data set representative of range and corresponding velocity values from the second set of signals; -summing a magnitude of a signal strength from each of the first and second data sets at corresponding range and velocity values; and, -comparing the magnitude of the summed signal strengths to a threshold value.

The present invention is directed to improved seed coatings which facilitate fall or early spring planting while maintaining seed dormancy until soil temperatures are appropriate for successful germination. The improved seed coatings contain encapsulated phase change materials within a polymeric shell which preserve the dormancy of the seed during early planting by slowing the rate at which the seed temperature rises in the event of a temperature spike thus preventing premature germination. The encapsulated phase change material is a material characterized by a solid/liquid or liquid/solid phase change which occurs at a temperature which ranges from about -5 to about 20°C, preferably between about 0 to about 19°C, most preferably between about 5 to about 15°C. The solid/liquid or liquid/solid phase change is further characterized by an effective enthalpy of fusion/crystallization for the solid-liquid/liquid-solid phase change equal to or greater than 20 J/g when determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry.
