Abstract:
Process for manufacturing composite material products (44, 48, 52), which process comprises at least the following operating steps: - moulding at least one main component (18) made of a composite material and one or more secondary components (19, 20, 21, 22) made of a composite material by means of one or more main moulds (11, 13) and one or more secondary moulds (23, 24, 25, 26), respectively; arranging one or more intermediate substrates (41) of fibers, in particular carbon fibers, pre-impregnated with a resin, between said main component (18) and/or said secondary components (19, 20, 21, 22) in a moulding assembly (40) comprising at least one main mould (11; 31) and/or one or more secondary moulds (23, 24, 25, 26; 35, 36, 37, 38, 39); curing the resin of said intermediate substrates (41) in the moulding assembly (40), so that the main component (18) and the secondary components (19, 20, 21, 22) are joined to each other through the intermediate substrates (41). The present invention also relates to a system which can be used in such process, as well as the products manufactured with this process and/or system.

Mould (16, 36) for manufacturing products (1) made of composite materials, which comprises at least one functional portion (24, 41) made of a composite material joined to at least one interface (16a, 36a) made of a composite material which projects at least partially around the functional portion (24, 41), said mould (16, 36) being provided with one or more mechanic fastening devices (20, 34, 37, 48, 55) for the coupling with at least another mould (16, 36) and being made up of a plurality of layers (17, 18, 19, 21, 22) of fibers, in particular carbon fibers, pre-impregnated with a resin. The present invention also relates to a master and a process which can be employed for manufacturing this mould.

Hinge comprising at least two groups of layers (3, 3'; 9, 9'; 11, 11'; 14, 14') of fibers arranged on and/or under two opposite edges, respectively, of at least one substrate (1; 8; 10; 13) of a material flexible and compatible for the adhesion with resins for composite materials, so that a central portion (4) of the substrate (1; 8; 10; 13) is not covered by these layers (3, 3'; 9, 9'; 11, 11'; 14, 14'), the substrate (1; 8; 10; 13) and the layers (3, 3'; 9, 9'; 11, 11'; 14, 14') being incorporated in a cured and flexible resin (6). The present invention also relates to a process for manufacturing said hinge.
