    Abstract: The present invention relates to an electromechanical transducer, particularly an electromechanical sensor, actuator, and/or generator, having a polymer element obtainable from a reaction mixture comprising a polyisocyanate, or a polyisocyanate/prepolymer mixture, or a mixture thereof, and to a compound having at least two isocyanate reactive amino groups. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a method for the production of such an electromechanical transducer, and to the use of such polymer elements as an electromechanical element.
