Abstract:
A - heat- resistant steel alloy for bodies to be manufactured by casting, as well as a coiler drum made of the alloy, which steel alloy contains, in weight percent, a maximum of 0.3% of C, 0.2 to 0.6% of N, 20 to 30% of Cr, 4 to 25% of Ni, 2 to 12% of Mn, 0.3 to 2% of Nb, 0.5 to 3% of Si, the balance being Fe and impurities.
Abstract:
The present invention related to a method of manufacturing a coiler drum (5) to be used in a coiler furnace and a coiler drum (5). The method comprises the step of forming a trinickel aluminide containing surface layer (7) onto a coiler drum body (6).
Abstract:
A method for forming a coiler drum (5) for a hot rolling apparatus, in which method a jacket (6) is formed parallel to the rotation axis (X) of the drum. The drum (6) is formed of two or more elements (6a, 6b) placed next to each other in the axial direction (X), and the adjacent elements are joined to each other in a joint zone (10), and the outer surface of the joint zone is closer to the rotation axis than the outer surface of the jacket element next to the joint zone. The invention also relates to a coiler drum and a hot rolling apparatus.
