A group (10) for collecting loose or substantially fluid- like material (12) comprises a scraping device (15, 15') suitable for conveying said material (12) towards an elevating device (17) in turn suitable for collecting said material (12) and transporting it upwards. According to the invention, said scraping device (15, 15') is rotatingly constrained around a vertical axis (A) of said elevating device (17) by means of a rotating connecting element (18) between said elevating device (17) and said scraping device (15, 15').
Abstract:
A device (10) for continuous measurement of the temperature of molten metal in a furnace or recipient for its production and treatment comprises a heat analysis instrument (14) placed in a lance (12) which blows inert gas and/or high-pressure compressed air against a surface of metal slag (18) of a furnace or recipient (20).
Abstract:
An apparatus for the combustion of gas exiting from an electric arc furnace for the preheating of scraps entering the furnace itself foresees an insertion device of comburent substance into a preheating chamber or loading tunnel of the scrap metal having an inlet section of the scrap metal, a seal section to prevent an uncontrolled entrance of air in the tunnel, a heating section and an unloading section of the scrap metal in the furnace. Said insertion device of the comburent substance comprises one or more adjustable openings placed in the loading tunnel, and said apparatus comprises a device or a series of devices, also not equipped with autonomous movement, of mechanical seal nature placed in the insertion or inlet section of the scrap metal in the loading tunnel or preheating chamber.
Abstract:
A new process is described for the production of mono- and poly-carboxylic aromatic acids by oxidation of the corresponding precursors with molecular oxygen and/or air in the presence of a catalytic complex formed by a combination of: A. at least one metal belonging to group VIIIA of the periodic table of elements, principally ruthenium, iridium, palladium, platinum; and/or at least one metal of group VIIA, principally rhenium; and/or cerium; and B. at least one metal belonging to group IVA of the periodic table of elements, principally zirconium and/or hafnium.
Abstract:
A method for the surface preparation of metallic strips, drafts and/or draw pieces comprises the treatment of the surface of the metallic strip, draft and/or draw piece by the ejection onto the strip of jets of fluid, at a high velocity, with a slope of the axis of the fluid jet with respect to the perpendicular to the surface of the strip struck, of less than 60°.
Abstract:
A simplified machine for the continuous application of coating products on a metallic strip, comprises at least two operative semi-sections (S 1 , S 2 ) , each of said semi-sections (S 1 , S 2 ) comprises: at least one application roll (200), capable of transferring said .coating product, removed from at least one containment tank, onto said metallic strip; at least one calibrating roll (202), having an axis parallel to that of said application roll (200) and being in contact therewith under operating conditions of said machine. According to the invention, said at least one application roll (200) is hinged, in correspondence with its ends, onto at least one pair of moveable skids (204), one for each side of said machine, which slide axially in a substantially perpendicular direction with respect to the axis of said rolls (200, 202) along respective linear guides (206) assembled directly on the base (208) of said machine.
Abstract:
