摘要: Methods and systems are provided for recovering an organic solvent from a waste sludge generated during formation of a polyarylene sulfide. Methods include combining the waste sludge with an anti-solvent to create a dispersion, which includes a solid phase that includes a substantial portion of the impurities of the polyarylene sulfide formation and a liquid phase that contains the anti-solvent and organic solvent employed during formation of the polyarylene sulfide. The liquid phase is separated from the solid phase and then subjected to a distillation process to separate the organic solvent from the anti-solvent. Methods can also include forming the polyarylene sulfide by a polymerization process and thereafter purifying a slurry of the polyarylene sulfide. A liquid washing product is formed as a result of the purification process, which can be subjected to a distillation process that forms an organic solvent-rich stream and the waste sludge.

摘要: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a fuel cell system is disclosed that comprises a fuel cell and a fuel cell fluidic member utilized in conveyance of a fluid (a gas, liquid, vapor, or any combination thereof) directly or indirectly to the fuel cell. 摘要: A polymer composition comprises from about 50 wt.% to about 90 wt.% of a polymer matrix, from about 10 wt.% to about 40 wt.% of inorganic filler particles, and from about 0.1 wt.% to about 10 wt.% of an impact modifier is provided. The polymer matrix includes a liquid crystalline polymer containing one or more repeating units derived from a hydroxycarboxylic acid, wherein the hydroxycarboxylic acid repeating units constitute about 50 mol.% or more of the polymer, and further wherein the liquid crystalline polymer containing repeating units derived from naphthenic hydroxycarboxylic and/or dicarboxylic acids in an amount of about 10 mol.% or more of the polymer. The polymer composition exhibits a tensile elongation of about 4.5% or more and a Charpy notched impact strength of about 10 kJ/m2 or more.

By selectively controlling the specific components of the polymer composition, as well as their relative concentration, the resulting microneedles may exhibit a high degree of physical alignment, which can help ensure better performance during use of the microneedle assembly.
