Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magazine of a placement device for storing and feeding a plurality of joining elements, particularly placement fasteners, to a provisioning module for joining elements and to a placement device in combination with said elements. The magazine has the following characteristics: a) a base element within the placement device having a storage groove, in which the joining elements can be received in an aligned and jointly moveably manner and the one end of which ends in a head piece of the placement device, b) an advancing mechanism, by which the joining elements can be moved within the storage groove towards the head piece of the placement device, and c) a dispensing mechanism, by which the joining elements can be fed individually from the storage groove to the head piece of the placement device.
Abstract:
A welding auxiliary joining part in the form of a bolt having a head, a shank and a tip is disclosed. The welding auxiliary joining part is driven with the aid of a mechanical thermal setting method into a component made of non-weldable or poorly weldable material. During the driving-in operation, a welding head arises on account of mechanical deformation, such that subsequently the component can be connected via the welding auxiliary joining part to a further component made of weldable material by means of welding.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magazine (1) of a placement device (S) for storing and feeding a plurality of joining elements (F), particularly placement fasteners, to a provisioning module (B) for joining elements and to a placement device in combination with said elements. The magazine has the following characteristics: a) a base element (10) within the placement device having a storage groove (20), in which the joining elements can be received in an aligned and jointly moveably manner and the one end of which ends in a head piece (5) of the placement device, b) an advancing mechanism (40), by which the joining elements can be moved within the storage groove towards the head piece of the placement device, and c) a dispensing mechanism, by which the joining elements can be fed individually from the storage groove to the head piece of the placement device.
Abstract:
Magazine (1; 100), by means of which a plurality of connecting elements (V) can be fed to a processing device (200) and which has the following characteristics: a plurality of holding positions (10; 110) which are located at a distance from one another and on each of which a connecting element (V) can be releasably retained, while the holding positions (10; 110) of the magazine (1; 100) can be refilled, and the magazine (1; 100) can be replaceably mounted on the processing device (200).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for establishing a nailed connection between two parts (2, 4) as well as a nail (6) therefor. The nail (6) is driven at a high speed through the parts (2, 4), which are not pre-pierced in the connection zone, in such a way that the nail tip (12) entirely penetrates both parts (2, 4) and a collar of material (38) that extends into an adhesive layer (62) between the two parts is formed only in the driving direction in the part (2) accommodating the nail head.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a placement device (1) for joining at least two components, the device having the following features: a first lever arm (10) having a first working end (12) and a second lever arm (20) having a second working end (22), which are joined to each other such that they can be pivoted in the manner of tongs, a first linear drive (30) connected to the first and the second lever arms, such that the first and the second working ends can be moved relative to each other by variation of the length of the linear drive, and a plunger (70) which is arranged at the first working end and is connected to a feed module (50) for joining elements and/or to a hold-down module (40).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a placement device for an auxiliary joining part, particularly a placement fastener or a punch rivet, comprising a driven ram which for a placement movement can be moved in a joining channel to which the auxiliary joining part can be loosely fed. The placement device has the following characteristics: a head piece in which a part of the joining channel runs, comprising a plurality of compressed air ducts ending in the joining channel, and an exhaust air channel, ending adjacent to the front side of the ram moving the auxiliary joining part into the joining channel of the placement device such that in the joining channel an airflow can be generated in the direction of the front of the ram moving the auxiliary joining part by way of an overpressure which can be generated in the plurality of compressed air channels compared to the atmospheric pressure and by which the auxiliary joining part can be positioned on the front side of the ram.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a feeding device, a feed channel, and a placing device that is used in conjunction with these special devices. The feeding device utilizes either a strip magazine 10, or a rotational magazine 20. The feeding of the fastening elements is carried out incrementally by means of a movable carriage 30, while simultaneous loading and unloading of the rotational magazine 20 is ensured at different positions during the use of the rotational magazine 20.
