Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of granulates, consisting chiefly of a soil release polymer, a fine-particled, absorbing, high-melt substrate and a coating material. In a first step of the inventive method, the soil release polymer is deposited on the substrate. In a second step, the primary granulate thus obtained is sprayed with a coating material to form a film. The invention also relates to the granulates thus obtained, to the use of said granulates in solid detergents and cleaning agents and to solid detergents and cleaning agents which contain granulates produced according to the inventive method.
Abstract:
The inventive mixtures substantially contain fatty alcohol ethoxylate propoxylates, fatty alcohol ethoxylate mixed formals and/or closed-end fatty alcohol alkoxylates as a main constituent and specific fatty alkylpolyamines as the other main constituent. Said substances are characterized in that they exhibit a high antifoaming and germicidal capability and are specially suited for aqueous cleansing liquors for industrial cleaning of hard surfaces.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an aqueous coating agent, which contains as binding agents in the form of aqueous polymer dispersions the following: A) 50 to 90 wt% of one or more thermoplastic copolymers of at least one C2-C4 olefin and of at least one vinyl ester of a C2-C11 monocarboxylic acid, wherein olefin(s) and vinyl ester are present in a weight ratio from 10:90 to 40:60 and together account for at least 80 wt% of the copolymer; B) 10 to 50 wt% of one or more thermoplastic (meth)acryl copolymer, which are free from comonomers with nitrile and amide groups and which consist of at least 50 wt% (meth)acrylic acid esters from C1-C18 alcohols, and C) 0 to 30 wt% of one or more copolymers different from A) and B), wherein each wt% relates to the resin solid body and complement each other to form 100 wt%.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a defrosting agent comprising substantially: (a) 87 to 99.45 wt % of an alkali metal acetate or an alkali metal formate or a mixture thereof; (b) 0.5 to 10 wt % of an alkali metal silicate; and (c) 0.05 to 3 wt % of an alkali metal phosphate. Said agent can be used in the form of a solid (powder, granules and the like) or in the form an aqueous solution, and provides a short thawing period and protection against corrosion, in particular with respect to magnesium.
Abstract:
The invention relates to Pd and Ni complexes of biphenyl-2-yl-phosphanes and their use in catalytic C,C-, C,N- and C,O-couplings. Specifically, the invention relates to novel Pd and Ni complexes with a biphenyl-2-yl-phosphane of the formula (I). The novel complexes are used as the catalysts for C,C-, C,N- and C,O-couplings, for example for Suzuki, Grignard or Stille couplings as well as for Heck reactions.
Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to provide a method for the production of a flowable pearly lustre concentrate with a 5-30 % fatty acid content, formulated in an aqueous dispersion, which contains at the same time 1-50 % anionic, cationic, non ionic and/or amphoteric surfactants and possibly 0.1 - 10 % polyalcohols. The inventive composition can be used in liquid surfactant formulations.
Abstract:
The invention relates to colorant compositions consisting substantially of one or more cholesteric liquid crystal polymers and at least one colorant absorbing a light in the visible wave range. Organic and inorganic pigments or dyes could be possibly used as colorants. Coatings with said colorant compositions are characterized by coloristic effects depending on the angle of view, which cannot be achieved with absorption pigments alone or with cLCP effect coatings.
Abstract:
The invention relates to novel acetals of the general formula R CO-X-O-C(R R )-O-Y-COR , in which R , R independently of each other are hydrogen, a C1-C12 alkyl radical, a C6-C12 aryl radical or a C7-C12 aralkyl radical; X, Y independently of each other are a branched or unbranched C1-C30 alkylene radical or a branched or unbranched C2-C30 alkylene radical; R , R independently of each other are -OH, -OM, -OR , -NH2, -NHR or -NR R , -M being an alkaline ion, an alkaline earth ion or an ammonium ion of the formula HN R R R or mixtures thereof, R to R independently of each other being hydrogen, a C1-C10 alkyl or a C1-C10 hydroxyalkyl, and R to R independently of each other being a C1-C200 alkyl radical, a C6-C50 aryl radical or a C7-C50 aralkyl radical, and R to R possibly being substituted with heteroatoms or interrupted by heteroatoms, and R and R possibly jointly forming a ring of 4 to 10 atoms. Said novel acetals are suitable as base oils for metal working liquids.
Abstract:
A liquid crystalline polymer blend containing two or more cholesteric liquid crystalline polymers or at least one nematic and at least one cholesteric liquid crystalline polymer. Variations in the components and proportions of the mixture make it possible to obtain all shades of colour and to reproducibly produce them. The polymer blends are suitable as materials or effect pigments.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for optically brightening workpieces by powder coating the workpiece with more than 2 ppm of an optical brightening agent and with power containing a white pigment, resin and, optionally, additional auxiliary agents. After coating the workpiece, the coating material is burned in.
