Improved Amine Based Additive Composition for Control and Inhibition of Polymerization of Aromatic Vinyl Monomers, and Method of Use thereof. The present invention relates to an improved amine based additive composition for control and inhibition of polymerization of aromatic vinyl monomers including styrene comprising one or more of the quinone methide or derivatives thereof, one or more of nitroxide compounds and further comprising one or more of aliphatic tertiary amines. In one embodiment, the present invention also relates to method of use of presently provided composition. In another embodiment, the present invention also relates to method of controlling and inhibiting polymerization of aromatic vinyl monomers, particularly of styrene by employing presently provided composition. In still another embodiment, the present invention also relates to method of preparation of presently provided composition.

The present invention relates to hydrogen sulfide scavenging additive composition comprising glyoxal and a polymer compound which is polymer made from propylene oxide, which is capable of scavenging or removing hydrogen sulfide in hydrocarbons or hydrocarbon streams without causing any problem. The present invention is also relates to a method of scavenging hydrogen sulfide employing present scavenging additive composition comprising glyoxal and a polymer compound which is polymer made from propylene oxide. The present invention is also relates to a method of using hydrogen sulfide scavenging additive composition comprising glyoxal and a polymer compound which is polymer made from propylene oxide.

The present invention relates to a polymerization inhibiting and emulsion breaking composition for inhibiting polymerization and simultaneously breaking emulsions formed between hydrocarbon and caustic, wherein the composition comprises: amino acid and a borohydride, wherein the amino acid is preferably 6-amino hexanoic acid and the borohydride is preferably a sodium borohydride. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method for inhibiting polymerization and simultaneously breaking emulsions by treating a polymerizable material with the additive composition of the present invention. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a use of the additive composition of the present invention for inhibiting polymerization and simultaneously breaking emulsions by adding the additive composition to a polymerizable material. The present invention relates to an additive composition for controlling and inhibiting polymerization of monomers, wherein the composition comprises a combination of (a) a phenol compound comprising catechol compound with (b1) an aliphatic tertiary amine, (b2) oxide treated derivative of the aliphatic tertiary amine, or (b2) a mixture thereof, wherein the aliphatic tertiary amine contains one or more hydroxyl groups in the alkyl chain of the aliphatic tertiary amine. In one embodiment, the present invention also relates to a method for controlling and inhibiting polymerization of monomers by employing the additive composition of the present invention. In another embodiment, the present invention also relates to a method of using the additive composition of the present invention for controlling and inhibiting polymerization of monomers.
