Abstract: Exemplary methods for killing or deactivating bacteria are provided herein. One exemplary method includes providing a plasma system and a filter below the plasma system. Energizing the plasma generator to create indirect plasma downstream of the filter and activating a fluid with the indirect plasma and applying the activated fluid to bacteria is shown to deactivate and kill bacteria.
