Abstract:
The present invention relates to water-dispersable microcapsules comprising an oil phase, e.g. a perfume, containing a photolabile α-ketoacid or α-ketoester capable of generating a gas upon exposure to light. The gas is able to cause an extension or the breaking of the microcapsule allowing the release of the oil phase and thus increasing the long-lastingness of the odor perception. The present invention concerns also the use of said microcapsules in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's microcapsules to provide a prolonged release of fragrant molecules.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a perfume system comprising a core-shell microcapsule A, optionally, a core-shell microcapsule B, and optionally, a free perfume oil, wherein the core of the core-shell microcapsule A and/or the free perfume oil comprises a 2-oxoacetate derivative of formula (I) as well as a perfumed consumer product comprising the same and methods and uses of the same for enhancing, conferring, increasing and/or modifying the fragrance properties and/or the fragrance intensity of perfumed consumer products.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) that are able to provide a long-lasting or substantive odor, in particular floral and/or fruity odor, to the environment. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of imparting a long-lasting odor, in particular a fresh green, floral and/or fruity odor, to surfaces, such as hard surfaces, fabric, skin or hair. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of said compounds in perfumery, as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) that are able to generate oct-2-en-4-one and thus to provide a long-lasting or substantive strawberry odor to the environment. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of imparting a long-lasting strawberry odor to surfaces, such as hard surfaces, fabric, skin or hair. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of said compounds in perfumery, as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns compounds comprising at least one β-thio carbonyl or nitrile moiety capable of liberating an active molecule selected from an α,β-unsaturated ketone, aldehyde or nitrile. The present invention concerns also the use of said compounds in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds. (I) wherein: a) m represents an integer from 1 to 6; b) Pro represents a hydrogen atom or a group susceptible of generating an odoriferous α,β-unsaturated ketone, aldehyde or nitrile and is represented by the formulae (II) or (II') in which the wavy line indicates the location of the bond between said Pro and the sulfur atom S; and at least one of the Pro groups is of the formula (II) or (II').
