Abstract:
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing dense smoke clouds for camouflage purposes utilizing a solid propellant. A reaction chamber (1) is shown with an electromagnet surrounding it and controlled by electric generator (7). The smoke produced is passed through venturi (4c), where air from blower (6) and liquid nitrogen from tank (9) are introduced. Beyond the venturi section of ejector (4) air mover (5) aids in dispensing the smoke product.
