Abstract:
Methods, apparatuses, systems, and storage media for creating, discovering, and/or resolving spells using a wand are provided. A wand may detect gestures or movements performed using the wand, and sensors in the wand may generate sensor data representative of the gestures. The sensor data may be converted into a spell sequence. The wand may transmit the spell sequence to a computing device, and receive, from the computing device, an acknowledgement indicative of whether the wand is to be included in a duel with another wand based on the spell sequence and a wand position. The wand may also determine the spell output based on the spell sequence without transmitting the spell sequence to another device. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention describe a hinge assembly to rotatably couple a first housing to a second housing, wherein an interconnect extends through the hinge assembly as an incorporated portion of the hinge assembly, the interconnect to communicatively couple a component located in the first housing to a component located in a second housing.
Abstract:
A gesture-based waking and control system to wake a smartwatch device from a low-power state is described. In one embodiment, the system utilizes a pressure or proximity based wake gesture that is interpretable by low-power sensors. An embodiment of the system can be integrated within a wearable device, such as a smartwatch accessory that can be paired with a mobile electronic device, such as a smartphone. In one embodiment, the wearable device includes a set of low-power sensors that are to detect the wake gesture. In one embodiment, the wake gesture causes the device to enable an additional set of sensors and sensor processing logic to detect more advanced commands or gestures. In one embodiment, the wake gesture enables a display of the wearable device.

In embodiments, a wand may detect gestures or movements performed using the wand, and sensors in the wand may generate sensor data representative of the gestures. The sensor data representative of the gestures may be converted into a spell sequence. The wand may transmit the spell sequence to a computing device, and receive from the computing device, a spell output based on the spell sequence, a wand position, and a quest. The quest may indicate an order in which one or more second devices are to be activated and one or more spells to activate each of the one or more second devices. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus relating to remote configuration and/or pre-setup for mobile devices are described. In an embodiment, logic causes receipt of user information at a device, which includes the logic, from a web portal in response to powering up the device. The logic causes creation of an account at the web portal for an end user in response to receipt of the user information and a code from the web portal at the logic. The logic causes display of the code to the end user to cause the device to become associated with the account in response to receipt of the code from the end user at the web portal. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.
Abstract:
Technologies for physical programming include a model compute system to determine one or more physical blocks assembled in a constructed model. The model compute system determines rules associated with the one or more physical blocks in which at least one rule defines a behavior of the constructed model and determines a program stack for execution by the model compute system based on the rules associated with the one or more physical blocks.

Methods, apparatuses, systems, and storage media for creating, discovering, and/or resolving spells using a wand are provided. In embodiments, a wand may detect gestures or movements performed using the wand, and sensors in the wand may generate sensor data representative of the gestures. The sensor data representative of the gestures may be converted into a spell sequence. The wand may transmit the spell sequence to a computing device, and receive from the computing device, an authentication spell output when the spell sequence corresponds with an authentication spell sequence or an inactivation spell output when the spell sequence does not correspond with the authentication spell sequence. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Abstract:
A battery includes integrated circuitry. The battery may include, for example, a substrate with a battery cell including an anode and a cathode. One or more electrical devices may be integrated on or within the substrate and configured to receive power from the anode and cathode. A package containing the substrate and the one or more electrical devices may include a first battery terminal electrically coupled to the anode and a second battery terminal electrically coupled to the cathode. The one or more electrical devices may include sensing circuitry to generate sensor data, and communication circuitry to provide the sensor data external to the package.
Abstract:
Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device, that includes a first housing and a wireless charging stand. The first housing can include a display. The wireless charging stand can include a power receiving unit and is configured to wireless charge the electronic device and support the first housing at different viewing angles of the display.
