Abstract: In an embodiment, a system includes a battery management unit (BMU) (14) coupled to a battery pack (12) of an xEV (40). Further, the BMU (14) is configured to determine an energy remaining value for the battery pack (12) based, at least in part, on a minimum cell temperature and a minimum cell state of charge percentage (SOC%) determined by the BMU (14) for the battery pack (12).
