Abstract:
To improve the efficiency of juice-extracting food processors (1) based on grating fruit or vegetables, wherein the inlet piece (2) forms an interstice (I) with the grating disk (3), interstitial cutting teeth (302) are arranged in the interstice (I). Pieces of fruit or vegetables in the interstice (I) are additionally accelerated in the direction of the sieve 151 due to centrifugal forces by the interstitial cutting teeth (302) acting on these pieces. The juice contained in these pieces is thus more efficiently extracted. For better processing of pieces of fruit or vegetables with a high juice content, the interstitial cutting teeth (302) are preferably higher than the other cutting teeth (301) of the grating disk (3).
Abstract:
A centrifugal bowl for food processing comprising a base that can be detachably mounted on the motor shaft to rotate about an axis of rotation, a filter portion in the shape of a perforated peripheral side sieve wall extending from an open end to the base and wherein the shape of the perforated peripheral side sieve wall is non- linear and cutting teeth disposed on the inner side of the base, the diameter of the base being smaller than the diameter of the open end is disclosed. The disclosed centrifugal bowl is useful for all juicers which extract liquid from solid. The juice output of continuous centrifugal juicers can increase since the non- linear sieve wall provides a higher force gradient to the sieve wall.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a food processor (1) with a motor (M) to drive at least one tool and with input means (13 to 18) to switch on at least one operating process, with a microcomputer (43) to control the operating processes and realize a detection stage (44) for the detection of the interruption of an operating process, which microcomputer contains a memory (50) for storing operating values present immediately before the interruption of an operating process, the microcomputer (43) being designed to start the continuation of an interrupted operating process following an activation of a reactivation switch (13 to 18) provided for the reactivation purpose, the reactivation switch (13 to 18) preferably being formed by the operating-mode switch (13 to 18) concerned.
Abstract:
In the case of an appliance (1) capable of being switched into an operating mode and comprising a main appliance part (2) and comprising an auxiliary appliance part (20) moveable relative to the main appliance part (2) between a non-operational position and an operational position and comprising a safety switch (12) being connected with the main appliance part (2) and comprising an operating mode switch (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18), which is provided for switching on an operating mode, a safety device (44) is provided which cooperates both with the safety switch (12) and with the operating mode switch (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) and which, by moving of the auxiliary appliance part (20) from its non-operational position into its operational position, prevents undesired switching on of the operating mode of the appliance (1) when the operating mode switch (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) having already been activated.
Abstract:
In a kitchen appliance (1) with a housing (2) and with a liquid crystal display device (12), the liquid crystal display device (12) is accommodated in an accommodating section (11) of the housing (2), and the accommodating section (11) is bounded, on a front face (13) and on a rear face (14), by a transparent housing-wall section (15, 16), and the liquid crystal display device (12) is in the form of a negatively transmissive liquid crystal display device (12), which is disposed between the two transparent housing-wall sections (15, 16).
