Abstract:
In a wireless communication system a control channel is required in order to use limited resources effectively. However, the control channel resource is part of the system overhead, and thus reduces the data channel resource used for data transmission. In the long term evolution (LTE) system based on OFDM, one subframe the consists of fourteen OFDM symbols wherein a maximum of three OFDM symbols are used for the control channel resource and remaining eleven OFDM symbols are used for the data channel resource. Therefore, the quantity of energy that can be transmitted for the control channel resource is extremely limited compared to the data channel resource. For this reason, the coverage of the control channel becomes less than that of the data channel, and even if a user can successfully receive the data channel, reception failure of a control channel sometimes results in failure of data recovery. In the present invention, in order to expand the coverage of the control channel to at least the coverage of the data channel, the time resource of the transmission resource wherein the control channel is transmitted is expanded and allocated for sending and receiving the control channel. By way of methods for extending the time resource are provided a method wherein a plurality of subframes are used to transmit one control channel, and a method wherein a part of a data channel is used for the control channel.

A method for transmitting feedback information for cooperative transmission in a wireless communication cellular system comprises: receiving information on cells that can be cooperatively transmitted from a base station; determining cells that prefer the cooperative transmission among the cells that can be cooperatively transmitted; generating feedback information, which includes a preference cell indicator representing preferred cells and non-preferred cells for the cooperative transmission among the cells that can be cooperatively transmitted, precoding matrix information for the respective cell that can be cooperatively transmitted, phase information representing a phase correction value of each of the preferred cells for the cooperative transmission, and a channel quality indicator; and transmitting the feedback information through a control channel or a data channel. Accordingly, the present invention provides a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a report of implicative feedback information on code books that can be designed for the gain improvement of a high-level inter-cell cooperative transmission.

Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving multi-user control channels through a data channel region in a wireless communication system using multiple antennas. Further provided is a definition of a new search space for control channel candidates. In the transmitting method, a base station forms control channels for a plurality of user equipment each of which is composed of at least one resource block, performs a mapping for the control channels by dividing a space of the same transmission region in a data channel region of a sub-frame, and then multiplexes the control channels with data channels in the data channel region of the sub-frame and to transmit the multiplexed control channels.
Abstract:
A base station in a downlink of a wireless communication system requires downlink channel status information of terminals to transmit link-adaptive transmission to the terminals. This channel status information is generated as a terminal receives a reference signal to be transmitted via the downlink, and fed back to the base station through a control channel of the uplink. Therefore, an increase in the transmission cycle of the reference signal and the feedback cycle of the channel status information may increase a difference between the channel status having been fed back from a terminal to the base station and the channel status at the point when data is actually transmitted to the terminal, thereby causing inefficient link-adaptive transmission and deteriorating the system performance. The present invention thus provides a method and apparatus for designing an uplink periodic feedback structure for reducing the channel status difference in case a reference signal for the estimation of a downlink channel status is transmitted over a prolonged cycle, and distributing a feedback overhead of terminals in terms of the system.

The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a backhaul subframe channel of a base station in a wireless communication system. The method for transmitting a backhaul subframe channel according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: creating a downlink relay control channel by coding downlink relay control information that is transmitted to a relay; allocating the created downlink relay control channel to a first slot of a semi-static resource region that is allocated to the relay; and transmitting, to the relay, a backhaul subframe to which the channel is allocated. Compared to existing control channel transmission techniques, the present invention can minimize overheads. Moreover, the present invention also reduces control channel resources required during retransmission and for the transmission of multiple backhaul subframes.

The present invention pertains to a fluid treatment apparatus for a pipe, which includes: a convex section which is convexly formed at a zinc reaction member in the direction of a housing outlet; and a protrusion section, which is formed at the beginning of the housing outlet for guiding a fluid to flow along the inner peripheral surface of a reaction space of the housing in the direction of the convex section. With the convex section and the protrusion section, it is possible to generate turbulent flow in the fluid, which may include water or the like, while passing through the housing outlet. In addition, it is possible to prevent rust or scales in the pipes at a more efficient rate by the turbulent flow generated in the fluid, which may include water or the like, that passes through the housing outlet.

A resource mapping method of a transmitter in a wireless communication system includes precoding pairs of symbols, arranging the pairs of precoded symbols adjacently in a resource block, and transmitting the pairs of precoded symbols in the resource block.

The present invention relates to a method for configuring a guard band for a radio communication system that comprises continuous sub-bands. In particular, the invention provides a method for designing an intermediate guard band, and a transmission and reception method and apparatus according to the same. The method for designing an intermediate guard band is provided to prevent interference between the continuous sub-bands and control the frequency difference of signals transmitted in each sub-band in the radio communication system that configures a broadband through carrier aggregation like a multi-carrier OFDM system and a multi-carrier CDMA system.
