Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of halobutyl rubber by copolymerization of isobutyl and isoprene in a solvent to form butyl rubber, wherein the solvent can be non-soluble for a suspension process (for example chloromethane) or be soluble for a solution process (for example, isopentane, pentane, hexane), and the subsequent halogenation of the butyl rubber. According to the invention, at least the halogenation should be carried out using a halogenation agent (8), in particular chlorine or bromine, in a halogenation kneader (7).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of molded bodies from a base substance, wherein the base substance is mixed with a solution for producing a molding solution, and said solution subsequently is at least partially removed from the mixture, and the molding solution is fed to a unit for molding, wherein the molding solution is diluted before molding.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for continuously thermally separating material mixtures, in particular of solutions, suspensions, and emulsions, wherein the continuous processing of the material mixtures is divided into a main vaporization and a degasification, wherein the main vaporization and the degasification each take place in a separate mixing kneader.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for improving the insulation (concentration) of polymer solutions following polymerisation but prior to shaping, which follows degassing (drying). According to said method, the following steps and the order are adapted to the polymer quality requirements: one or more expansion steps, a separate washing step, a pre-concentration step, coagulation, dewatering and main evaporation.
