Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for creating and managing an options program associated with payment transactions initiated in a geographic sector is described herein, The method is implemented using an analytics evaluation and management (AEM) computing device. The method includes storing a sector score associated with the geographic sector, the sector store ranking one or more financial characteristics of a plurality of merchants located in the sector. The method also includes generating an investment instrument including one or more parameters associated with the sector score, and transmitting a program initiation signal to a program interface (PI) computing device configured to maintain a virtual commodity market. The program initiation signal includes instructions causing the PI computing device to display the investment instrument on a user computing device, and provide a user of the user computing device an option to purchase the investment instrument.
Abstract:
A method for generating and providing aggregated merchant analytics for a sector location is provided. The method includes defining a plurality of sectors of a geographic region and receiving transaction data for financial transactions occurring within a period of time, the transaction data associated with a plurality of merchants. The plurality of merchants are located in the geographic region. The method also includes identifying, for each merchant, one sector of the plurality of sectors in which the merchant is located. The method further includes generating aggregated merchant analytics for each sector based on the transaction data associated with all merchants located in the sector, wherein the aggregated merchant analytics represent a ranking of each sector relative to all other sectors, and displaying on a user interface of the user computing device the aggregated merchant analytics, wherein the aggregated merchant analytics are graphically represented on a map of the defined sectors.
Abstract:
An enhanced 3D Secure user authentication process and system. In some embodiments, a consumer device processor of a consumer device running a Web Authentication application programming interface (API) transmits a request to a relying party device requesting use of an enhanced 3D Secure authentication service. The consumer device processor then receives a request to authenticate a consumer from the relying party device by using a specific customer verification method (CVM), prompts, by running the Web Authentication API, the consumer to provide input in accordance with the CVM, receives input data in accordance with the CVM from an authenticator of the consumer device, verifies the consumer based on the input data, generates an authentication data package and transmits to the relying party device the authentication data package for processing and forwarding to a 3D Requestor environment.
Abstract:
A method for issuer-based decisioning for single action purchases includes: storing an issuer profile, wherein the issuer profile is a structured data set related to an issuing institution including at least a scoring threshold; receiving data from a web server associated with a merchant, the data comprising at least transaction data related to a proposed payment transaction and browser data related to a web browsing application program used to access the web server; calculating a risk score based on at least the transaction data and browser data; determining a purchase procedure of a plurality of purchase procedures based on the calculated risk score and the scoring threshold, wherein the plurality of purchase procedures includes purchase procedures (i) enabling initiation of the payment transaction via a single user action, and (ii) requiring additional user authentication; and electronically transmitting the determined purchase procedure to the web server.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for managing user identities in networks. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a communication device, an API call request for a credential from a relying party. The communication device includes an application that incorporates an SDK. After receiving the API call request for the credential, the communication device authenticates a user associated with the communication device and identified in the API call request. After authentication of the user the communication device generates, via the SDK, a private-public key pair and stores the private key in memory. The communication device compiles, via the SDK, a credential packet include the public key and identity data associated with the user and transmits the credential packet to the relying party, whereby the relying party is registered to the SDK to request assertions of an identity of the user.
Abstract:
A scoring engine computing device for generating personalized lending scores is provided. The scoring engine computing device receives a request including a cardholder identifier associated with a candidate cardholder, determines demographic data associated with the candidate cardholder, and retrieves transaction data for a plurality of cardholders including the candidate cardholder and a set of peer cardholders. Each cardholder of the set of peer cardholders is associated with the determined demographic data of the candidate cardholder, and the transaction data is associated with transactions for a plurality of spending categories. The scoring engine computing device further normalizes the transaction data associated with the candidate cardholder by category, generates a personalized lending score associated with the candidate cardholder that indicates a spending trend of the candidate cardholder, and transmits the personalized lending score to a requestor computing device.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for assigning a value to a coupon, suited for ranking the coupon relative to other coupons. One exemplary method generally includes selecting, by a computing device, a target coupon; weighting, by the computing device, a value associated with the coupon, based on at least one parameter related to the coupon and/or a redemption merchant associated with the coupon; and publishing the weighted value of the target coupon, whereby the weighted value is usable to compare the target coupon to weighted values of other coupons.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting data from a digital wallet on a user device to a designated server for use by a transaction card application process on the designated server. The method includes receiving code data generated by scanning a code image using the digital wallet on the user device, the code image being associated with a transaction card offer. The code image includes encoded data relating to the transaction card, including an identity of the designated server. The method further includes displaying information relating to the transaction card application process on the user device, the displayed information being generated based at least in part on the code data. The method further includes transmitting, to the designated server, user data for use in the transaction card application process at least a portion of the user data being securely stored by the digital wallet.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for generating aggregated merchant analytics for a sector are provided. The system includes a merchant analytics (MA) computing device in communication with a user computing device. The MA computing device defines a plurality of sectors of a geographic region and receiving transaction data including at least one online transaction associated with a merchant. The MA computing device generates a transaction location identifier for each of online transaction to indicate a location associated with a user device operated by a cardholder associated with the online transaction and links the online transaction to one sector based on the transaction location identifier. The MA computing device generates aggregated merchant analytics for each sector based on the transaction data associated with the online transactions located in the sector and displays the aggregated merchant analytics on the user computing device for analysis.
