Abstract:
A computing device receives a request to render a listing of item entries on a graphical user interface. The computing device receives an electronic image of the document, analyzes the electronic image, and determines a document type by performing an image recognition on a first portion the electronic image, comparing information extrapolated via the image recognition algorithm to a database of document types, and identifying a match between the extrapolated information a document type. The computing device applies an OCR algorithm that corresponds to the determined document type to a second portion of the electronic image, and identifies items extracted from the second portion. The computing device renders the listing of item entries on the graphical user interface of the user computing device, the listing of items comprising a listing of each item extracted from the second portion of the electronic image.
Abstract:
A data management system and method are provided. The method includes storing a plurality of questions and user identities in a database at a central server and transmitting data from the central server via a communications network to a plurality of distributed user computers. The data includes user selected questions in a word processing document. The user completes the questions off line and transmits back to the central server via the communications network, electronic answers to the selected questions. The server automatically allocates and collates the relevant answers for each question and stores the received answers against an existing or pre-determined structure or hierarchy in the database. Flexible combinations for reporting answers are also provided.
Abstract:
A method and system for confirming and verifying the existence of a data object the veracity of which is being queried in relation to a subject uses a communications hub configured to communicate with a verifier holding data concerning a designated subject. A verification request is compiled, a predetermined function known to both the verifier and the hub is applied to the data object, generating a data object value specific to the data. This is recorded to a distributed electronic ledger system, for obtaining a receipt to provide a permanent record of the data object value and thus of the data. The verifier receives the request and receipt, as proof of the existence of the data object. The verifier applies the predetermined function to the data it holds to generate a comparison data object value. Correspondence between the values confirms veracity of the queried data object.
Abstract:
The current invention relates to a computing system carrying out a method to generate an action proposal draft, said method comprising the steps of: (a) receiving requirement data from a corporate user by said server, said requirement data comprising a plurality of transaction banking capability requirements relating to cash management and treasury; (b) processing said requirement data by said server to generate an as-is/to-be analysis draft available to a moderator user, said processing based at least partly on said transaction banking historical data; (c) receiving a modification of said requirement data from said moderator user and/or said corporate user, yielding modified requirement data; (d) processing said modified requirement data by said server to generate request data comprising an RFP (Request For Proposal) and a recipient list, said processing based at least partly on said transaction banking historical data; (e) upon confirmation by at least said moderator user, sending said RFP to a plurality of bank users mentioned on said recipient list; (f) receiving response data by said server from one or more bank users belonging to said plurality of bank users, said response data comprising a plurality of transaction banking prices relating to said plurality of transaction banking capability requirements; (g) processing said response data by said server to generate an action proposal draft available to said moderator user, said action proposal draft comprising one or more of said plurality of transaction banking prices relating to said plurality of transaction banking capability requirements.
Abstract:
A product display merchandiser comprising a track, a pusher configured to move along the track, a biasing mechanism configured to apply a force on the pusher in one direction along the track, and a distance sensor configured to detect the distance between the pusher and a fixed point. The distance sensor determines the number of products contained in the product display merchandiser based on the distance measured.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of making online payments by integrating social networks and payment networks to a seamless network. In particular, the invention leverages the information in the social network to conduct financial transactions. The best mode of the invention is considered to be a social payment network app that incorporates all or most of the functions of credit cards, internet banking and money order companies by using the data and functions already available in the social network. The invention provides better counterparty recognition, reduces the chance of fraud, or fraud, and provides a cheaper payment platform to consumers (110, 410) or small businesses while also reducing the administrative burden in making and paying purchases or reporting payments and/or expenses to third parties, such as the employer or tax administration.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for updating stored cardholder account data is provided. The method is implemented using an account updating server in communication with a memory, The method includes receiving, from an issuer computer system, cardholder account update information associated with a plurality of cardholder accounts, identifying a merchant associated with at least one of the plurality of cardholder accounts based, at least in part, on the cardholder account update information, generating a merchant update file for the identified merchant including the cardholder account update information for the at least one of the plurality of cardholder accounts, and transmitting the merchant update file.
Abstract:
A system for the cryptographically-secure, autonomous control of devices comprising, connected to or remotely operating devices in an electrically powered network and the transaction of the benefits, costs or value created by or transacted through the devices in this electrically powered network.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for use in locating one or more merchant terminals based on transaction data associated with the terminals. One exemplary method generally includes accessing, by a computing device, transaction data for a transaction to a payment account between a merchant and a consumer at a merchant terminal where the transaction data includes a terminal ID for the merchant terminal, a merchant ID of the merchant, an acquirer ID for an acquirer associated with the merchant, and a temporal indicator. In addition, the method includes receiving, by the computing device, location data associated with the transaction, identifying, by the computing device, a location associated with the location data as a location of the merchant terminal, and assigning, by the computing device, a score to he identified location indicative of a confidence that the identified location is the actual location of the merchant terminal.
