Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of preparing a mesoporous metal oxide, comprising the steps of: a) providing metal salt; b) providing a template; c) mixing the metal salt of step a) with the template of step b) in a solvent to form a precursor solution and heating the precursor solution to obtain a precipitate; and d) calcining the precipitate obtained from step c) to form the mesoporous metal oxide, wherein the template is N-C 10-26 acyl-glutamic acid. The present invention further relates to a mesoporous metal oxide prepared by the method, and to a use of the mesoporous metal oxide as electrode material for electrochemical energy storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lithium metal oxide represented by formula (I) as follows: Li 1+x Mn y M 1-x-y O 2 (I) wherein: 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.33 and 0 ≤ y ≤ 1, and M is one or more metal selected from the group consisting of Al, Ni, Co, Cr, Ca, Zr, Nb, Mo, Sr, Sb, V, Ti and Fe, wherein the lithium metal oxide is surface modified with carbonaceous compounds; and to a method for preparing the lithium metal oxide.
