The method of assembling customized footwear on-site includes the steps of displaying a plurality of shoe bases; displaying a plurality of heels; displaying a plurality of lower fore-foot straps; receiving from an on-site customer a selection of one of a plurality of shoe bases; and assembling the selected heel, shoe base, and lower fore-foot strap into the customized footwear on-site. The customized on-site footwear system includes a chosen-on-site shoe base, a chosen-on-site heel, and a chosen-on-site lower fore-foot strap.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The description relates to a hand tool (10) for tightening screws in holes (12) with a spike (16) having a spike stub (14) between them for golf shoes having a recess (36) to accept the spike stub (14) and two threaded (38) pins beside it. The hand tool (10) also has at least one cleaning blade (30). The hand tool (10) is advantageously also fitted with a scraper (48), a cleaning device (44) and a cleaning component (42). The cleaning blade (30) and the scraper (48) can be arranged to pivot at one end section (64) of a handle (56) and the cleaning device (44) and the cleaning component can be arranged to pivot at the opposite end section (68) of the handle (56).
Abstract:
Aspects hereof relate to an apparatus and method for coupling a cemented upper (102) to a sole (104) of an article of footwear (100) Pairs of clamps (202, 206) secure a sole (104) at a forefoot region and a heel region (412) to prevent movement of a location of the sole (104) upon application of a perimeter (404) deforming force. Perimeter deforming implements (214) apply such force to a bottom surface (414, 802) of the secured sole (104) causing the perimeter (404) of the top surface (226, 402) of the sole (104) to splay open outwardly from the longitudinal axis of the sole (104). While the top surface (226, 402) of the perimeter (404) is splayed, a cemented upper (102) is caused to contact the top surface (226, 402) of the sole (104) in a longitudinal direction (212) from the heel end to the toe end (136). Once in place, the force on the bottom surface (414, 802) of the secured sole (104) and the clamps (202, 206) is released leaving the top surface (226, 402) of the sole (104) properly adhered to the upper (102).
Abstract:
Automated painting of a shoe sole portion (600) of a shoe is enhanced by use of a jig (400). The shoe sole portion (600) may be secured between top and bottom plates (412, 410) of the jig (400) such that a side surface (612) of the shoe sole portion (600) is left exposed. Additionally, the jig (400) is adapted to create configurable masking lines along the side surface (612) of the shoe sole portion (600) using multilayer deforming layers (420, 424).
Abstract:
A foot alignment tool is configured for aligning a foot bearing a load. The tool extends between a handle at one end and a support lever at an opposing end and is characterised in that the support lever is configured to be received under or substantially under the medial longitudinal arch or the cuboid of the foot and configured to be rotated so as translate and/or rotate the foot from the inside of the foot to the outside of the foot or from the outside of the foot to the inside of the foot by a predetermined amount about a foot heel-toe axis wherein the support lever is configured to apply a predetermined torque.
