Abstract:
An end-cap component for installation on an open end of a countertop includes an end-cap front element, and an end-cap stabilizer, which can be solid rectangular pieces or laminated components. The end-cap component can be made in a right-side, left-side or center-mount configuration, and can be glued together with an adhesive and configured with a polished face of the end-cap front element. Also disclosed is a stabilized end-cap countertop system, including a countertop, with an upper surface element and a front edge; and an end-cap component. The system is suitable for manufacturing in stone materials, including engineered quartz, using lighter-weight parts, resulting in improved precision and efficiency of manufacturing and installation.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a continuous method, whereby porous edges (5) of workpieces (1, 2), made from wood, wood substitute, or wood-like materials, for example boards, in particular, base boards are continuously coated on the edges, as well as on at least one main side, with a thin coating material (8).
Abstract:
A panel for furniture and entrance doors and panels, with at least one surface decorated with bevel or rounded longitudinal sections extending along three or four sides and possibly with elevated or depressed central plates or ridges or grooves that may extend in any direction, longitudinal, transverse or at any angle to the longitudinal or transverse axes of the panel, the said panel finished in plastic laminate such as HPL, CPL or Formica. The plastic laminate is post formed by bending under heat and the occurrence of breaks at transverse bending lines is prevented by placing the basal panel in a template and placing over the basal panel a sheet of plastic laminate that is slightly larger than the basal panel such that the edges of the plastic laminate are supported by the walls of the template during post forming along the edges of the panel. The excess material is then cut off and a smooth continuous plastic laminate finish is obtained. Where elevated or depressed plates or ridges or grooves result in a hollow space between the plastic laminate and the basal plate into which the plastic laminates is to be forced, a rubber sheet of appropriate size and sufficient thickness is placed above the plastic laminate whereby the plastic laminate is protected from breaking under the pressure exerted to post form the said plastic laminate.
Abstract:
Mono wall or multi wall extruded modular element system used for forming furniture, shelves, drawers, sets of pigeon holes, caracterized in that it is comprised of moulded separable elements with the necessary means for assembly, both in the longitidinal direction and in the transverse direction so as to form modules of all sizes. The elements have either an L profile or I profile provided with means intended to increase the rigidity and simultaneously produce, on the cross section, orifices comprising internal ribs which co-operate with assembly screws in order to provide for the coupling of the various elements. The drawing shows the assembly of two panel sections. In element (10) the assembly screw (11) is fitted in distance piece (12), whereas in element (13) the screw (11) co-operates with the thread of the tube (14), thereby producing a simple and resistant assembly by forming, at all useful points of a panel, invisible distance pieces on which the assembly screw heads bear, either visibly or integrally (15), concealed by a cover (16).
Abstract:
A method for forming grooved panels faced with thermodeformable material, characterised by forming in a substrate (1) grooves (2, 2') having at least their outer wall (6, 6') flat, then to said wall applying separately-prepared portions of profiled section (8) chamfered at their ends to form sharp-edged joints in the corners, and finally applying a facing sheet (9) to the thus treated substrate (1).
Abstract:
A method for forming a panel (1)for an assembled product including, such as a furniture product, wherein the method includes: displacing the first panel in a feeding direction (82) by a conveyor through a first edge machine (99), working, by a first tool (5) of the first edge machine (99), on a first edge (3) of the first panel to obtain a decided location of the first edge (3), attaching, by a second tool (52) of the first edge machine (99), a covering material (4), such as a laminate strip, a thermoplastic strip or a veneer strip, on the first edge (3), and forming a first edge groove (21), by a third tool (53) of the first edge machine (99), along the first edge (3) and on a first main surface (11) of the first panel (1), wherein the first edge groove is configured to be a part of a locking device.
Abstract:
A stabilized miter edge system includes a top element, including a top miter surface; at least one edge element, including a front miter part with a front miter surface, and a rear stabilizer part with a rear stabilizer surface, such that the top element is configured to connect with the edge element with an adhesive. The edge element can be manufactured in one piece or glued together from several pieces, and can include use of laminated components. The system is suitable for manufacturing in stone materials, including engineered quartz, using lighter-weight parts, resulting in improved precision and efficiency of manufacturing and installation.
