Abstract:
A portable, hand-held device for dispensing both fluid hand sanitizer and dry wipes is described. In various embodiments, the portable hand sanitizer device has a lower assembly comprising a means for storing and dispensing dry wipes and a means for blocking actuation and dispensing of a fluid sanitizer, and the upper assembly comprises a means for dispensing fluid sanitizer and a means for engaging or not engaging the actuation block.
Abstract:
To sum up, by using the shaker for mixing liquids (1-7) (e.g. shampoo, soap, etc) with water right before use, an optimal dose of the liquid is used and appropriate solution is used. A dissolved mixture is applied to the hair/body to most significant part immediately- the hair roots and the scalp. It works beneficial for the hair, especially the hair ends, preventing dry and split ends as the e.g. shampoo is not applied directly. The mixture is distributed more evenly throughout the hair, without adding additional water and washing out the unused shampoo. The foam evolves quicker and is greater, which makes the washing easier. The shaker enables the user to use multiple liquids at once if needed. The amount of the liquid used is decreased to an optimal dose for the user and is therefore also eco-friendly, as no excessive amount of liquid is used. The invention enables the user to close tap water/shower during use and therefore uses less water and is eco-friendly. With same advantages the shaker is used in pet care and with other liquids.
Abstract:
A wearable dispenser in the form of an armband (10) comprises an elongate body (12) of flexible material that defines a discharge opening (18) at its one end and an internal cavity (14) along its length, that is in communication with the discharge opening (18). A closure element (28) can selectively open and close the discharge opening (28) and a piston in the form of a ball (40) is provided inside the cavity (14) that seals against internal walls of the cavity (14) and can slide longitudinally along the cavity (14) to drive a fluid from the cavity to the discharge opening 18. An elongate spine element (34) extends along the length of the body (12) and is attached to the body (12).
Abstract:
A liquid dispenser includes a bottle having a lower portion, an upper portion, and a neck portion located above the upper portion. The upper portion and the neck portion are vertically aligned with a central vertical axis. A pump is coupled to the neck portion and dispenses liquid by moving the pump from an un-depressed position to a depressed position. The pump includes a pump mechanism, an orifice in fluid communication with the pump mechanism to enable liquid to be dispensed, and a tube in fluid communication with the pump mechanism and extending into the lower portion. A shroud forms at least a portion of the outer surface of the pump. The shroud is positioned to cover the neck portion and a portion of the upper portion in the un-depressed position and cover the neck portion and a larger portion of the upper portion in the depressed position.
Abstract:
A collapsible container for dispensing viscous materials has a bottle section with exterior screw threads and a cap element with nozzle aperture and internal, mating yet greater in density screw threads so that relative turning of the bottle section with respect to the cap section causes dispensing of material and collapsing of the bottle section into the cap element. The exterior screw threads are provided with uniformly spaced surface discontinuities. The cap element is provided with a resilient, inwardly directed tab which glides over the exterior edge of the screw threads of the bottle section as the bottle section is rotated with respect to the cap element until the tab aligns with a discontinuity thereof which causes an audible or tactile click to be sensed for ensuring uniformity and ease of exact dosing.
Abstract:
Vacuum pump dispenser having a pumping compartment with a self sealing spout and a primary compartment. The problem associated with conventional vacuum pumps is that the sealing spouts may not seal after each use of the dispenser thereby contaminating the material that has not been dispensed. The present invention provides an improved sealing spout which opens to dispense material when the pumping compartment is actuated and closes to seal the spout when deactuated. The dispenser has a primary compartment (200), a pumping compartment (225) and a spout (210) with a pressure operated flexible sealing member (226) therein. The pumping compartment has a rigid base (198) and a flexible dome (218) which is actuated to decrease the volume of the pumping compartment (225). The sealing member (226) has a tapered tip (228) connected to flexible fingers (230) by a thin rod (232) passing through the spout (210). The flexible dome (218) has a plunger (224) depending downwardly thereform which closes an opening (208) in the base (198) to prevent backflow of material from the pumping compartment (225) to the primary compartment (200) when the dome (218) opens against the bias of the flexible fingers (230) when the dome (218) is actuated and closes when deactuated.
Abstract:
Pumps and dispensers having dosage control and various methods for actuating a pump or piston allow users to deliver a product from a container to be used by the user.
Abstract:
A dispensing device (100) comprises first and second cylindrical portions (102, 104) which are detachably interconnected end-to-end. The first portion 102 is arranged to store consumables such as bags (116) for collecting pet faeces and comprises a tubular side-wall (110) having an aperture (134) formed therein through which the consumables (116) can be dispensed. The second portion (104) is arranged to store a fluid such as a hand sanitiser and comprises an outlet (132) at one end through which the fluid can be dispensed. The device provides a convenient way of storing consumables and associated fluids together in a convenient manner, for example so that a user can sanitise their hands after picking up pet faeces using a dispensed bag.
Abstract:
The invention relates to dispensing means (106,122) for controlling the flow of a product from a dispenser, and to a dispenser (102) including such dispensing means. The dispensing means (106,122) comprises a roller (106) and restraining means (122) for restricting movement of the roller (106) and for providing a seal against the roller (106) when the roller (106) contacts the restraining means (122).
Abstract:
A dispenser comprising a base unit with an actuation mechanism for dispensing liquid and a refill unit insertible into the base in an inverted configuration with its outlet lowermost to supply liquid to the base. The refill comprises an annular wall projecting into the base and defining an outlet from the refill. The annular wall is closable by a valve element. The base comprises a hollow spigot and an annular seal surrounding and spaced from the spigot whereby insertion of the refill into the base causes the spigot to enter the annular wall and lift the valve element from the annular wall to define a flow path from the refill to the spigot. The base also comprises a proximity sensor and an inclination sensor each of which may independently or jointly trigger the actuation mechanism causing the device to operate to deliver one or more doses of liquid from the dispenser.
